Lemme tell ya.
My date and I were on excursion, when we happened upon
a department store, and they were having a shoe sale.
We went in, and found our way through crowded aisles, to the shoes.
Soon, we gravitated to the boots. Although my date said, at the beginning, that she didn't need any more boots, I think she was kidding. We picked our way through the sale racks, and she found quite a few to try on.
Me? I found myself a cute pair of Laura Ashley mid-calf boots, in brown leather, with 3 1/2" blade heels. Very stylish, and my date said she liked them on me.
She tried on so many different boots, but had a hard time deciding. Eventually she settled on furry, knee high winter boots for next season. It was difficult for her to decide on dark brown or camel color. Finally, after asking my advice, she chose the camel colored boots.
Meanwhile, I had located a pair of low heeled, knee high western boots, "Born" brand, and very nice. The thing was the color. They were blue, and not just blue, but a bright, flourescent, day glow, electric, shocking blue. This was a blue that would be spotted from two blocks away. It was one hot shade of blue.
I showed the blue boots to my date, and she nearly fainted, "No," she said, "those are too Brokeback, too intense, too shocking." She pretty much forbid me to buy them.
I really liked the boots, despite the heels that were only about 1 1/4". The color was great, but I could not get my date's approval. Probably, I should not complain. I did get the cute Laura Ashley boots.

I suppose the ladies all jump on me for this but I have to tell ya Magickman,it might be a good idea to call your boots something other than "cute".

Thanks, everyone, for your responses,
I tell it the way it is, really I do. There is more to life, than some of us might imagine. We should be able to find a good laugh every day. And if we don't, then we can do something worthy of a good laugh.
There is something inherently hilarious about a fellow walking into a women's shoe sale, and trying on a variety of high heels. Most of the onlookers play it pretty discrete, but their eyes give them away. It is funny!
Both my date, and I, found boots that we liked, and had a great time at the shoe sale.
men don't own "cute" things!!
I do.
It's a joke.....right?
Nope. This is a true story.
I'm still not done vomiting just reading your s***.
See your therapist, immediately.
And another thing. While I am out in the world, strutting my stuff in the stiletto heel boots, women approach me, and want to talk. They NEVER did that when I was a flatfoot.
There is method in my madness. And it works.

Honey...they do that because they think you are gay and gay = safe. They see you as a girlfriend.
BUT...the bottom line is if you are enjoying wearing the heels, then strut your stuff!

To be honest, Annie's probably right about them thinking you're gay... but hey, if you're happy in heels, then right on, wear your heels
And... ahnyceleven, why should it bother you so much?

And... ahnyceleven, why should it bother you so much? Well said Kamacca, I was just about to ask the same question. Perhaps ahnyceleven is jealous of his cute boots?

I thought I was done with these forums but I'm coming back out of retirement, as it were, JUST for you dude. Here's my advice...get a different haircut, shave off that f***ing beard, get rid of that dress and knickers you seem to be wearing, and just start being a man. god DAMN, dude!!!!!!!! what the hell happened to you that you've ended up like this? I know, things are tough everywhere, but dude....come ON. I'm still not done vomiting just reading your s***.
Hey guys, lay off ol Ahny here. Sounds to me like he's making some progress and actually made up his mind on certain things. Now if we can just get him to stop being so fickle with women...

I don't think anyone was really picking on Ahny... just wondering why he was so agressive in picking on other people.

Kamacca, he's been the subject of much being picked on in the past (deservedly so).
Tink! Canceled? Oh no! He'll be back. I'm sure he'll miss everyone on here.

I've never picked on ahyn.. anyh.. oh dear.. on whatever his name is... I never seem to be around when he posts, though I've had a few laughs reading threads he's been involved in.
But seriously, with his lovely long locks, I am sure he'd look great in some cute boots, perhaps with furry insides and... ah... well, you get the gist!

Usually, it is the girls who are jealous of the cute boots.
Well, even if ahny is jealous of my boots, he can't have them.
Despite all of the sniping from the peanut gallery, most of the gals, here in Minnesota, do not think bootboy is gay.
Honest! The stiletto boots are the best chick magnet, that I ever came across. If I was selfish, this is a secret that I would not share.
The guy in heels is just different enough, as to be attractive to women.
"No way!" you are thinking. "That is just so wrong."
But I am telling you, this is something that works in personal contacts. The chicks love it. I get dates with these women. We go dancing together, in heels, of course. I can dance in 4" stilettos, and never fall down.
Works for me.
