I was just wondering how many of you look at the "winks" or only just mail? I think the "winks" are so cute and I always look at mine.

I honestly don't know what to make of the winks... mainly because I don't understand if there is an unwritten rule that you have to wink back? or if you should just take it as a compliment (which I don't know how I could since I don't have a picture posted yet).. email them? WHAT!???!?!?

I more often than not delete the winks. I do answer all of my emails.

Finally 52 degrees here and the flowers are peaking up out of the ground.

I prefer an e-mail over a wink. I get winks and wink back and never hear from the "winker" again....so what was the point? An e-mail shows a genuine interest.

I keep on getting winks from women who live 5000 miles from me and I dont really see the point of them winking at me. However, I do usually send a brief mail back saying thanks but you're too far from me, apart from one lady who had potential so I sent her a longer email after she winked, and never heard from her again! lol
Anyway, I like getting winks even though most of them are pointless, it's always nice to know I'm appreciated! But emails are better, of course, unless they're form letters...

Winks are ok if sent to show interest. But why not send an email it is free! An email sent shows that someone put some effort into saying hello and I tend to give them a quick reply if they are found to be interesting.

I usually look at wink's but don't respond to them. If they are local person then I will send that person an e-mail.

It depends at least partly on my mood...I think a lot of guys wink just to get some attention back, rather than to express any real interest. Works for me - I'll usually wink back, I don't mind spreading the attention around (c'mon, we all need it!). This is 99.9% about fun; frankly the odds of actually finding someone are pretty slim. Nothing wrong with having some fun and flirting though!

I winked at myself........well heck sometimes if you can't wink at yourself ....you know charity begins at home.....I wink at heaven all the time......she deletes it I wink again.......the other eye though....multi talented. I laugh at myself too. I am an idiot what do you expect.
Winks are a flirtacious way of saying and showing interest...I respond to them but .......

I have to print this. This is how Mdoc says to deal with winks.
Winks are a way of showing interest in a person without having to email them. If they wink back at you, send them a message. Below you will find a list of users that have winked at you in the last 30 days. Newest winks are located at the top.

It gives me a good idea if a person actually reads your profile when I tell readers that I dont answer winks, and I still get winked at.
