Just looking to see what crazy places that you have gone to try and meet new single people! I will have to post mine, just because it's too funny.
I convinced my friend a couple years ago to go to a cattle auction.  . to see if we could meet any single young men  .......... there were some there however most of them were older men.. needless to say.. the idea was a flop!

Go to a dance with that band of yours Barachois up there in PEI!
I wouldn't say I hang around in Laundry mats. That only gets you in trouble.
The local vegatarian CO-OP. But that date falls to peices when you order a burger at the diner.

lol I'm looking to meet people my own age .. and they do not attend concerts like that..
and i'm not sure there is such a thing as a vegetarian co-op here.. just wondering what other crazy things people have done to find a mate..

I was a single young troop station in southern Germany and decided to take up alpine skiing. Signed up for a course in Austria and meet with a lot of singles. We partied every evening. It turned out to be a great week!

I've heard of the bookstores too.. but I don't really know how you'd meet someone.. plus wouldn't people look at u funny if you're just standing around reading some book off the shelf EVERY time they walk into the store.. they'd probably think you were a stalker lol

in the insane asylum of course..their all sane in there..its the ones in the real world that are crazy..there was a thread about this..

dont do nightclubs anymore - pool halls are the place for young people to meet.
if you can find a pool hall that has a bowling alley as well - score!

At a friends cookout.
Carnival/Fair.
Mall.
Grocery Store.
Restaurant.
There are several places to meet people.

I got a good tip recently... bookstores.
. . . tried it. All the women in the place seemed to be packed into the "Self Help" section. Couldn't hardly shoulder my way into the ends of the isle . . .even when I use the ol' "Can someone direct me to the new Dr. Phil book?" ploy . . ..
I fell back after several unsuccessful attempts. It wasn't a complete loss though, I picked up a copy of "Monastics for Dummies" on the way out . . .
