at least you email I will give you credit for that. I get nothing in return for winks and most emails. I don't wink if I am not interested.

I have wondered about that myself - why send a wink if you do not intend to follow-up?

it's just to see if you have any interest at all,,,,,,,,,,,,,,it may sound lazy but why pour your heart out in an e-mail only to be shot down ,,,sometimes a quick wink can save alot of heartache,,,,,,,,,,it's probably a rejection issue,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

at this point i am wondering if any fellas out there are really Looking or just window shopping.. I get winks and send an email and No response... I always send a pm in reply to a wink (unless it's an obvious scammer) because I just think the lady is a bit shy and doesn't know what to say first-off. I even reply if only to say thanks but no thanks. And then, on the rare occasion that I am interested romantically and I send a fairly lengthy pm, it seems that they don't reply back to me. So yes, what is the point in winking if you're not interersted???

Sweet-
I've gotten several winks that I wink back, and never hear anything ever again, so, who knows why?

What Chinabull said. Although I seem to have that problem a lot lately(not just with winks), I'm getting a bit discouraged to send a PM and then just sit there with the silence hanging over me.

PM is private messaging, i.e., the emailing on the site. IMing is when you just fire one off quick to someone(and I've never used it, since don't you need to pay to use it?).

IM/PM are usually used synonymously (although terms vary by sites) - email on site is often called messaging or email.
It all can get confusing, especially since there is no uniform manner from site to site.
Instant messaging can also refer to Yahoo instant messaging.

Not everyone thinks that way...
I`ve never had much of a problem with the emails...so its not much of a problem for me..you just have to go with the flow..if they write they write..if they don`t they don`t...winks..hmmm..I just take those as a compliment and if i remember I send a quick thanx for the wink...
