Yeah here we can lie with style and make our jobs sound really great instead of being really boring. I mean come on I build windows, how boring is that. I guess it could be worse I could be working retail.

I do living history or in other words I'm an actor. But my roomate and I started our own chocolate business that is taking off (CHOCOLATE REVOLUTIONS Inc.) Infact I need to get back to dipping 300 7" rod pretzels in carmel first then in chocolate I only have 150 done but took a break to check my email and see who was at the forums.

Just to avoid a massive search by all MD users I will hearby confess my profession.
I'm living on a settlement that I had with the United States government.After my termination as a presidential bodyguard because I refused to ride point during Bushes recent Earth Day bicycle ride...I fish alot and dig worms for bait.

Jankia some have not been changed in a long time mine says transportion which I have not been in for a while since I failed my DOT Physical for health reasons.

I'm a payroll administrator in Michigan, not only print the checks, handle health insurance, 401k and work comp. I've worked for this company for 25 years next month. I enjoy my job and consider my office my second home, love the people I work with.

Mi girl I celebrated 25 years last month.....oh different....I celebrate 7 months in the SAME job the first of May......unheard of....you say.

A Mother, a Grandmom, caretaker of a 94 pd Chocolate Lab, a Daughter, a lover, a friend, and on my side job a Peds Nurse for 19 years all my jobs are rewarding and challenges me daily but I love it wouldn't change it!

I do Research and Development in the health care field
sorta...
I'm a software developer for a company that makes software for health care organizations. My job is classified as R&D, and it's healthcare, and I like how that sounds.

I have been a nurse since 1967, working off and on (mostly on). I have worked in hospitals, nursing homes and for physicians, wanted to experience as much as I could. Right now I am living in FL, settling my late sister's estate, and thinking about getting a FL licence and go back to work at least part time. Been unemployed since late December '05 when I quit my job to come here to FL to take care of my terminally ill sister.

Sorry to hear that red.....my thoughts and prayers are with you.....your sister couldn't of asked for a better person to take care of her then you and her private nurse at that!!!!!!
I want to further my career in the medical field.....going back to school for ultra sound and x-ray!!!! Yes at my age too!!!!

stall-mucker, fence-mender, hay-bucker....oh, you mean the PAID stuff????
40 years in IT, been there done that... heck, I started out wiring boards! Currently the lone DBA for our HP3000 IMAGE databases, and with luck I'll be able to walk out the door to start my NEXT career the day this company unplugs its last 3K....
