I have been pondering this word and somewhere in the dark recesses of my mind, I think I have heard that word before. Dating - eating fruit off palm trees. Dating - wearing clothes from the 50's. Dating - carbon testing my skin.

when i was in college, being on a very limited budget, i used dating as a way to get a free lunch, free dinner and sometimes free passes to movie houses.  at least i used to live in a country where men are usually expected to pay for all of this.

I think of the word and my head hurt's. It should be a fun thing to do. I just haven't had that with the few I have had. I can't see why people don't date alot.

I haven't dated since the middle of the 80's... and I don't see that changing anytime...
my priorities don't have that option listed anymore...
and if I have any momentary lapse, all I need to do is read a few profiles, and suddenly, I am just as paranoid, bitter, and I thank the many ladies on MD, for the profiles that inspire those feelings....
