My 85th e-mail received today.... here's the breakdown

Today I received my 85th e-mail from this site. I am a casual dater for local Atlanta metro area. I have actually met 3 of these gentlemen in person; nice fellows, all. There are 4 that I am still corresponding with that I am very interested in meeting in person in the near future, so we will see.
Of the 85 received, 63 e-mails have gone directly into my filter box, for reasons listed below:
14 - Men who are not even here in this country (why? I'm never going to meet you and I have no interest in a pen pal).
10 - Men who live in this country, but are still too far away (again, no pen pals, sorry)
9 - Men who live in the state but are still too far away for casual dating (though some say they do intend on visiting here in the near future... that could work).
12 - Men much younger than my stated age range.
9 - Men whom I do not fit their ideal companion as written clearly on their profile (this is the one that really makes no sense; why are you writing to me?)
I have also received some nice compliments and lovely poems (thanks). The rest are from sleazoids, knuckleheads, weirdos, the grammatically challenged, or I just have no interest in whatsoever. (Yes, I know you have a sex drive, and no, I don't want to hear about it in your first email to me, or see your weiner on web cam).
So what's YOUR breakdown, folks?

Mostly I get nice e-mails more often than not they're from women that don't really interest me but it's OK.
I get a lot of e-mails from friends here at matchdoc.
Unfortunately the local women who have written seem seriously flawed. Usually they push far too hard or just want to screw around.
One of my first e-mails came from a woman who wanted to rant about her non smoking views and informed me that I shouldn't bother trying to "hook up" with her. (she wrote to me)
All in all women tend to have much better manners in the e-mail and online department.

I'm thrilled with the email I just received....from a guy with a foreign name so long I can neither pronounce nor spell it but he claims to be from Astoria Queens (oook) but anyway...he said..."you don't look 39 baby at all"...hey I'll take a compliment anywhere I can get it!!

I get a few emails from some intelligent women that only come from our play the forums.  , but usually too far away to casually meet. But that's okay. Keep 'em coming!

wow, it sounds like many of you are popular... I think i just passed 7 e-mails in the 4 years I've been on the site...
ok, so thats an exageration... but I've never gotten mail unsolicited... except from scammers.... and even scammers can be fun to pretend with...
while I've corresponded with a few friends from the boards, or the chatroom... I've always known better than to hope for anything more than friends, whether it is the distance, or cultural differences....

I am lucky to get one a day amd those are from women oversea's. It's fine with me as I don't plan to meet people this way to much anymore. It's just to hit and miss for me.

i think I have received no email but like 50 winks.....  I must not be doing something right lol. Its okay because the ones who have winked at me are like 50 and older, foreigners and out of state. I just figured on finding a few good chat friends and still sitting here unchatted lol. I figure my time will come......when it does, who knows, but Im here. Have a great day.

Well, I have gotten well over 100 emails... and about 30 winks.... 22 of those winks have been from women from overseas. The rest were from some mighty pretty ladies here in the US.
Most of my emails are from ladies I am corresponding with.... but, at least 3 times a day I get an "I am liking your structure" email from someone overseas, those I just delete..... I have only gotten one email from someone local, and she was not my type..... go figure. All the same, I am enjoying it..... Getting to know interesting people is fun.....

I get a few emails... mostly geared towards sex or marriage. I'm already married so neither of those things help me. I have a completely different perspective of why I'm here, than those guys that email me think. If by chance I happen to find a sugar daddy worth millions who'd be willing to take care of me, my husband, and our kid.. than that would be awesome... Thats a slim possibility.
I get more winks than one liners.
