The best thing about women is that they are all wonderfully different. They are like Christmas presents. The anticipation of unwrapping them is almost as much fun as actually unwrapping them.
The worst thing. I always have to pay for the sins of the men in her past. It gets really annoying when no matter what I do or say, she expects me to begin to act like someone else.

And here I have heard for years that role playing is good for a relationship.....
Just kidding. I'm sorry that happens, but unfortunately it happens to everyone, male or female. Just keep on unwrapping--hopefully you will soon find the prize you're looking for.
And think of the fun you will have on the way to finding her....

Those are the women who haven`t learned to let go of the past and move on...not all women are like that...
They just need to learn to take the past mistakes as a lesson learned...forgive and forget...

Unfortunately, "forgiving and forgetting" is not in the vocabulary of some men and women.
I have met, and been out with, over the years, plenty of women who feel that the next guy that comes along is going to be a carbon copy of the ex, and therefore, must pay for any of his sins, before they are committed, or, because she assumes they are going to be committed. It's a rough way to get to know someone, especially when you are already branded as "just like the ex".
And, you don't have to tell me that men are like that too, I know they are. I don't understand why some people just can't let go. I know for a fact that not all women are like my ex, in fact, I am GLAD all women are not like either ex.
Since I am a nice guy, and really not like anyone's ex (at least as far as I know) I take umbrage to the assumption that because I am male, I am going to be like the last guy. In a couple of instances, I didn't even get the chance to prove otherwise...but, then, since they had their idea of what they thought I was going to be like, I didn't stand a chance.
I avoid the women that start with "all men are alike" and "Men suck" kind of lines... it's a pretty good indicator that she hasn't gotten past whatever it was she was subjected to...

Well, I just live with the hope that there is the man for me out there and I don't expect him to be like anyone else.

That's the challenge. Delving past the protective personality layers to the core of deflection and finding the synchronicity between yourself and her, along the way discovering the you with her and the her within you. All the interests and clicks that attracted you will either blossum or wither, but the reality behind that is not a specific song or movie you both love, but a peace of mind in the state of mind and similar way of seeing life... the irony of which is that how you see life can and often will change as the meeting of minds and hearts progresses. It's all so very fragile, assuming each moment survives to the next with renewed interest.
Of course, it's a two way street.
How deep *is* your love?

I hate the world today
You're so good to me
I know but I can't change
Tried to tell you
But you look at me like maybe
I'm an angel underneath
Innocent and sweet
Yesterday I cried
Must have been relieved to see
The softer side
I can understand how you'd be so confused
I don't envy you
I'm a little bit of everything
All rolled into one
Chorus:
I'm a bitch, I'm a lover
I'm a child, I'm a mother
I'm a sinner, I'm a saint
I do not feel ashamed
I'm your hell, I'm your dream
I'm nothing in between
You know you wouldn't want it any other way
So take me as I am
This may mean
You'll have to be a stronger man
Rest assured that
When I start to make you nervous
And I'm going to extremes
Tomorrow I will change
And today won't mean a thing
Chorus
Just when you think, you got me figured out
The season's already changing
I think it's cool, you do what you do
And don't try to save me
Chorus
I'm a bitch, I'm a tease
I'm a goddess on my knees
When you hurt, when you suffer
I'm your angel undercover
I've been numb, I'm revived
Can't say I'm not alive
You know I wouldn't want it any other way
