I Don't Want Me Either

I was just browsing through the people on line and discovered no one wants a women over 53 - the highest age I saw. I am older than 53. I decided to research this phenomenon. I looked at my 25 year old daughter - I looked at myself - looked at my daughter's 23 year old friend - looked at me. Conclusion - I don't want me either!!!!! But I will not be thwarted - I am now changing my age to 42.

Ok, but what happens when said date finds out you are not 42? Hoping you are saying this in jest. Just give it time. The right person will come along.

I most certainly did not say it in jest - I am convinced I am one of the few people on this site telling the truth - maybe

LOL!!

But... is 42 that much better? I feel "out of the loop" at the ripe old age of 33, and when I check the local women, within 100 miles of me, I don't feel any kind of strong personality click. I'm thinking of investing in a RV and taking my address mobile so I could call all of North America "local". Either that or start buying stock in an airline.

33????? You are still wet behind the ears. Hell, yes 42 is better than where I am now. My underwear is older than you are.

It's not the years, it's the mileage.

The last time I smiled somebody put a shock collar on me - they thought I was baring my teeth.

If results are any indication, I appear to be telling the truth too.

Don't change your age darlin'.....you are intelligent and have the best sense of humor around!!!!! You truly could be a comedian, and you seem to have a heart of gold underneath all the humor too.

If you're gonna change anything maybe think about not starting your profile with "I am widowed and have 3 grown children" ...The fact that you are widowed and have children is quite evident in your profile......start with the lovely words you describe yourself with, as in...... "I am very loving and affectionate......"

Starting with "I am widowed" sounds a little like a downer and YOU are anything but that. Starting with that self description sounds as if you still closely identify with being widowed and accordingly may not be over your deceased spouse yet

I sure hope "I don't want me either" is truly tongue and cheek because you just seem like a very special woman with a lot to offer the right guy

Just my humble opinion

Holding - I know exactly how you feel! LOL!! You just summed it up wonderfully - and with a sense of humor! Kudo's to you!

But...don't worry... I bet there is someone just waiting to "hold" you! :-)

No fair! Now my giggles have totally freaked out the cats, which tends to put them in the dog-house.

Don't you know that you HAVE to fib a little to hope to catch the interest of the delusional idiots who are convinced that they are god's gift to womankind? Ok.. so I refuse to fib, and what happens? I get these delightful folks who would be my father's contemporaries were he still alive, bless his black heart!

man, did I have a rough day, or did I have a rough day?????

well, it sounds like you are a very experienced person so there's really nothing to worry about. just let yourself dance with the music of the heart and all your steps can never go wrong!
