I'd love to know his reasons for not wanting to share that about himself....

Maybe he just didn't think to tell her?? I know that I have a routine with my teeth and I don't intentionally hide them, but I don't leave the soaking cup out where it can be knocked over. Dentures are expensive so protecting them is important. And the question I have is if he was taking them out and placing them under a towel, how was it she didn't notice he wasn't wearing any teeth all of the sudden?? Perhaps it was lack of observation skills on her part?? Personally I can tell instantly when someone had teeth one minute and didn't the next!

OMG! I'm SO deceitful! I've worn a partial since I was 13 years old and have NEVER thought to disclose that fact beforehand to anyone I've been involved with It just never occured to me, lol. OK, world: I'm revealing ALL today!

...it's just been rather obvious when their tongue finds it, though (or they wonder how I don't burn the roof of my mouth on pizza )

I also didn't realize for years that an "intimate friend" wore a removable bridge...until he had me go into his shaving kit for Tylenol. ~gulp~ there was a "spare" in there (dang, I wish I knew the name of his dentist...what an excellent job!)

Sun, I see nothing wrong in not revealing that, lol, and is much better than the ones with the awful teeth or the brown teeth, I had whole lot rather see a nice set of dentures.

This is so funny. I wear dentures and have for about 10 years. I lived with a gentleman for about 5 years and he never realized it.I didn't actively hide the fact from him but to me a person without their teeth is really awful. Really Awful.
So I made sure that he never saw me without them. (no one does) I don't even like looking at myself without them! It wasn't difficult....except for the hotel rooms with the vanity in the bedroom.
There are a lot more important things in a relationship than dentures and contacts. I also wear contacts by the way. That's obvious because I'm blind as the proverbial bat without them.

Ladies, I have a confession to make...It's so terrible that I'm almost sure no one will ever deal with me if they know. Are you ready ?
SINCE MY TEEN AGE I HAVE BEEN SUFFERING TERRIBLE DESEASE CALLED " HAIRFACE" . IT'S UNCURABLE , SO IHAVE TO SHAVE MY FACE EVERY MORNING - AND THEN LIE TO EVERYONE PRETENDING MY FACE IS AS SMOOTH AS IT WAS WHEN I WAS 15....

What a shameless liar you are, alter! Omitting such an important issue is unacceptable. You should be expelled from dating sites forever!!!!!

As for me - I never forget to start any of my presentations ( especially during business meetings and receptions) with statemet of which of my teeth has been "crowned" and how many cavity fillings are ther up to date. I'm sure it makes everyone feel good and not decieved...

OK, I cannot tell a life. I wear dentures too, and have since I was 35. And I'm with GonnaTry...nobody sees me without them. They do have their good points, but I'll save that for the sex forum. It is difficult for me though, my bathroom has a full wall mirror. Good thing I know my way around it blindfolded.

I'm so sorry, shannasL! I will never shave again, I promise.
And what do you think about cleaning teeth and using mouthwash ( not to metion whitening) ? Should I stop using anything that freshens breath also? Or should I proceed , but wear a badge warning everyone that THIS IS NOT MY NATURAL ODOR? Hey, how about all this perfume , deodorant, soap , etc? Hey, humans, we are literary swamped with lies!

At least you're honest enough to wear glasses , alter, so you are not trying to fool everyone by using contact lenses. So, maybe we'll let you stay on this site for a while, you are not totally liar....

Ok, let's cut it to the chase - what on Earth does really matter except :
a/ pending court sentence b/ debt c/ underaged dependants d/ STD????
Though, when it comes to the type of relationships , we can narrow those factors even more. I mean - unless people are gettimg married , who cares about each other's finances or legal problems? Why would those in search of sexual relationships care about anything but STD? ( This , sure , applies only to those who is careless enough to have unprotected sex, anyway.)
Which leaves us with .....virtually NOTHING , a least for those on "dating websites"...

Post was honestly made in jest. It would be very easy for a denture wearer to fool me. I have all my own teeth. But ponder on this - if they lie to you in the little things - what about the big things? Isn't it just easier to let things be known quietly?

holding?? What I was trying to point out is that some of us are just so used to wearing our dentures that we don't give them a second thought. I don't think it is considered fair for the denture wearer to be called a "liar" if they don't tell someone they're wearing them. It's just not something we think to mention. It IS a little thing. So little in fact that it is honestly just overlooked. No lying was intended and shouldn't be mistaken for a lie. And from what I've read throughout this thread a lot of the posters are indeed making fun of the situation. It is being taken in jest and thus far no one appears to be offended. Personally I think it is hilarious that anyone be called a liar because they don't think to say Hi! My name is **** and I wear dentures. It is just ridiculous that they're being labeled a liar for not mentioning it. lol

Harley, dentures are a sore point for you, huh. 39 right - should have taken care of your teeth - you might still have them. I am 57 and still have all my own. So I don't have to worry about where they go at night.

No. They are not a sore point for me. How arrogant and rude of you to make the comment that I should have taken better care of my teeth. Very immature and uncalled for. As it happens I took very good care of my teeth.I had a very nice smile and great teeth until about 8 years ago. Perhaps you should have told my ex husband that breaking my face in several places with a monkey wrench would indeed cause some serious amounts of damage to my teeth as well as my face. You are not a nice person and you're darn right I take offense to that last post you made. Very rude, ignorant and highly uncalled for.
