How many of us have heard this expression from one gender or the other when referring to their ability in intimate personal situations. My question is whose standard or what standard do you use to determine this? Do you keep a score chart and ask the partners to rate you so you know if you are good or do you a rating card of your own to gauge this? Old Southern saying "It is a poor dog that wags its own tail."

~shudder~ I abhor that concept of "keeping score". Good thing I've let guys know my attitude before we've ever been intimate (though I can't recall being attracted to the type who really needs to know -- from what I understand, it can just be a verbal "habit" with a lot of men)

I agree SunBabe-when people are younger it might "seem" to be the cool thing to brag about inquests and ability, but as we mature, you hope your partner will take each experience for what it is!

Dang, wiping off that monitor again...have to stop drinking and reading...
Any man who's insecure enough to feel a need to brag is probably not gonna appeal to me anyway...confidence is such a beautiful thing. Keeping score? Are we counting orgasms here, or what? Recovery time...how loud the screams were...?
