Are all these people in the witness protection program?
Don't they WANT people to contact them? What is the point of going to all the trouble of filling out a profile and posting a pic when all anyone can see is a dark blob - unless you really ARE a dark blob, and you might want to mention that in your profile as it might make you quite popular with Goth or Metal types.

The ones that drive me nuts is when the faces are too small.

The way I see it,anyone who posts a picture that is far away,to dark or blurry isnt serious about what they are hoping to find. Its not difficult to have at least one closeup picture in your profile unless the person is only a game player or considers themselves downright unattractive.

Well, none of y'all are hiding in the dark. Even Holding has some closeups on her profile (BTW Holding, greetings from a fellow River Rat. Grew up in Vicksburg, and have bent an elbow a time or two at Under the Hill, back in the day).
I know folks post old shots and cartoons and what ever when they're not seriously trying to meet someone, but if you are, and you post your profile, and you look at the photo you put there and all you see is a dark blob, why not fix it? (unless you ARE a dark blob, in which case you might mention it in your profile, as it might make you more popular with the Goth and Metal types)
Am I overthinking this?

hmmm.... my pictures weren't dark before they were posted, so I agree with Atone. And it only made certain ones darker that were taken with one certain camera when they posted.
Otherwise, I think I include a mixed variety WITH closeups. They may be a little bit darker now, but you can see my face.

welllllll here's what you do..you right click and save it or highlight it and ctrl C and paste it....then you take a photo editor and hit special effects and lighten it up and zoom in..... ...yep it works everytime.....so see they can hide in the dark but you can still see them

Hmm...Father, I'd take you in the dark, in the light, in strobe lights, in a blizzard, in a hurricane...you get the idea!
