After like 2 or 3 months with no contact after a first date. WTF? I get this phone call tonight, and it's this kid I met at the end of September. I thought we had fun, we had some drinks, went back to my place and kissed a bit, then said goodbye and that we'd get together again. He even called me later to tell me how much fun he had.

So I get this call tonight, right in the middle of my Beaujalais Nouveau and he tells me he had a really bad ashthma attack (I can relate) and he was in the hospital, etc. Well what about the other 2 1/2 months?

I dunno what to think. I pretty much had chalked him up as a one date wonder (which is better than a one night stand).

Oh, btw, the guy is 25 years old.

P.S. I met him on this site!!! Like over a year ago. He still remembers me being excited about the Beaujalais from last year. I never took him seriously, however, because, he's 25.

If he is so young like you say at 25 then WHY did you ever go out with him for the first date?

age aside, if HE was that interested he would have stuck around in the first place. He's been playing the field and his field is mighty slim at this time, so it's time to go back to what worked. Kinda like a slap in the face if you ask me.

So he was bored, so he picked up the phone and called you. No big deal. I mean, you weren't considering a serious relationship with a 25 year old? Therefore, why giving the call a second thought, let alone post about it?

Go out with him if you get bored. But don't take it seriously.

Oh and... you may wanna reconsider posting about people you meet here. There's always a chance that he reads this and that just isn't right.

wibber, u goober! i'm not gonna say cradle robbin cos i'd have 2 bop him about being n the craftsmatic adjustable bed.

seriously, it sounds like u had fun, n u might even b thrilled about him being so young. even w/bad asthma, it wouldn't take him that long 2 recover. if he really wanted 2 contact u, he could've. could u just hang out with this boy until someone better came along, and would u really want 2 do that? ur waaay better than that.

let jr go off n get dry behind the ears. u have ur beaujalais n us.

Hell I'm straight and I'd have to think twice about turning down a 25 year old, male or female.

Your the one that posted your business and this is a public forum therefore we have a right to our own opinion and I personally think it's a joke for a 47 year old woman to date a 25 year old.I think it's a joke for a 47 year old man to date a 25 year old too Yes I've dated younger guys who were 10 years younger but that is as young as I would ever date em. I have limits and morals I donot date those who are my kids ages I'd tell the 25 year old to go back to school and play catch up

wibber so a 25 year old is OK must admit would love a 25yo but a reality check i have wiped pop of my 25 yo son and daughters butt.
A 25 is also hot in bed goes all night instead of all night to go. What do they really want leaves a question open. May be they are so insecure they need a parental guide. The reason they didnt return was a polite way of saying no realising their mistake.
its like belting Ur head against a brick wall feels good whene you finish.

Gail.....I'm guessing it was a booty call - which, hey, if you both know that, where's the problem?

And, whether you go there with him or not, there's nothing wrong with an ego boost!!!!! You go girl!!!

Eyes of Blue, I appreciate your support. Lecriveuse, I apprecate your humor!!

Said young man called me last night but I missed his call. Then he called late, like when I was watching SNL. I guess I'm supposed to call him today. But I probably won't. And I'm supposed to see him on Tuesday, but that's my TV night.

I'm ambivalent, and the comments that he was with someone in the meantime and it ended aren't making me feel very positive. To be fair, he has moved and changed jobs and then of course that thing where he was in the hospital.

I am so not looking for a booty call, so if that's what he wants, he will be very disappointed.
