Is kissing cheating? Thanks to Bill Clinton we now know that oral sex is not cheating so what about kissing? Can you be faithful to your partner if you’re snogging another. As the Christmas party season is almost underway it’s best we find out if kissing’s cheating?

My opinion is that of course it's cheating!!! It might not be as bad as shagging, but it's still cheating and I will always see it as such!
Of course we are not talking about a little peck on the cheek!!

A kiss on a cheek is pretty commonplace, especially if you have known the individual for a period of time.
If the kiss is any longer than a couple seconds or there is any tongue action involved, it's cheating.

if you listen to the experts,
1)having friends of the opposite sex is a form of cheating
2)sharing yourself mentally with co-workers is cheating
I was amazed to read that men were hurt by women being open and vulnerable to friends more than women were hurt by a man physically cheating....

This is better, I once saw this question posed on another message board, and most of the people that answered said it wasn't really cheating! Just wanted to make sure I'm not the only one who thinks it is!!

I think kissing is cheating, as long as the relationship has been clearly defined as an exclusive one. If you're still in the 'dating around' phase, then it's not.
My friend and I have this ongoing debate... he claims that it's possible to have an 'emotional affair' where there's no physical act of cheating but because you become emotionally close to someone of the opposite sex outside the bounds of your relationship, that qualifies as cheating. I think that's ridiculous... I mean, if THAT can be cheating, where can the line for what is and is not cheating be drawn? I don't know about you guys, but the sound of a relationship in which I'm not allowed to have opposite-sex friends and have to live in fear of being accused of an 'emotional affair' seems a little extreme to me. To me, it's a HEALTHY thing to have closeness with other people than just your significant other. And, it's an incorrect application of the word 'affair' to use it to mean something besides physically cheating on someone.
What do you guys think?

it is ridiculous, rachael. differing relationships contributetowards a person being healthy n happy. that does sound suspect if u can only have a "close" relationship 2 ur significant other n no one else.
it'd b the intent behind the behavior that'd constitute infidelity and the consequences. concealing chat n other behaviors on and offline from significant other would seem suspect and maybe leave the other to feel betrayed/angry.

Is there tongue wagging involved with this kiss? Does a hand find it's way to the crotch? If so, yes I would classify that as a form of "cheating". 
On the other hand if it's a peck on the cheek, neck or forehead with no tongue being utilized AND with all hands are located in a "{no cheat}" position, my call would be.... No, it's not.

What kind of question is this? Anyone with a remote iota of sense would know the answer. Right Bill Clinton? Why not take it further and ask if impure thoughts about someone else is cheating too? Oh, what about thinking about someone else during sex? I know none of you would ever do that either.
Look, I had a girlfriend who always kissed others on the lips, she never cheated on me. Just how she was in greeting others. A little common sense goes a long way.

Come on swingpup, peck on the cheek or forehead is one thing, but on the neck? Sorry, but that falls in the cheat zone. Why would you go for the neck to begin with if it's just a "friendly peck"? The neck is a much more intimate part of the body and an erogenous zone for many.

If you ever wonder whether what you do is considered cheating, it probably is... But if you really want to know ask your significant other.. I'm sure they will make sure your quite clear on it.. Heck they might say yes.. which of course mean they will be doing the same thing if not more.. which you would have to be ok with.. Right?

Angel....In the unlikely event the person providing the kiss is a midget, then what? The kiss may even make contact lower then the neck..........Have you ever watched Girls Gone Wild?
