Now a days there is no such thing as normal...being that there are so many people that have lived their lives with drugs and alcohol. One never knows what is exactly out there. But I do know that there are alot of crazy men also. Because I have met a few too.

Being manic depressive or bi-polar is a disease; no different than being diabetic or having cancer...do you refer to women that have suffered from physical ailments as being "gimps" or "sickos?"  If their behavior was objectionable to you, it is most likely because they weren't taking their meds properly...and a lot of people w/mental or emotional illnesses try to stop or alter their treatment regimens because of societal pressure-mainly, people callously and casually referring to them as being "crazy," and acting like they're less than human.

I hear you! It's interesting, when we look forward to that first meeting, we ask ourselves "Why or how did this person ever wind up divorced?" Then, over time we figure it out.
That said, we also need to look in the mirror because we also share some of that burden.
It is true, however, there are some really manipulative and/or control freaks out there. It's not easy to tell them all apart.

Many men think I am "nuts". I do have my problems like many others but I think the real problem is that there is next to no understanding and mostly lack of communication. Keep the lines open and most things can be worked out.

Well, the same thing can be said for men....deception, dishonesty, age issues, friends with benefits....doesn't anyone either just want to be friends or begin a relationship? I don't understand why people have to be so so so human! lol for lack of a better word. If only they would realize that truth is always the best...but for some self esteem issues keep them from being truthful.

Most on here are just game players anyway...that is why there are only about 6 women from Iowa in Matchdoctor.........I have had some nice relationships the two years I have been on here, and all have been out of state.....

There are a few women that are way out there but there are many more here in Iowa that are on MD that are in fact true sweeties. Some simply desire to "chat" many more desire to actually meet. Hang in there and good luck.

You guys aren't the only ones having a hard time- it's pretty slim pickin's for us ladies too- and most of the men on here are game players too or just looking for a piece. I've given up home of ever meeting my soul mate!!!

Hey! Everyone speak for yourselves! I am normal. And thats probably why i never seem to get noticed. Who wants normal when there is a buffet of odd and unusual out there. I am just your basic girl next door. Normal to most is just boring i guess. But i am of the upmost normal as you can get.  But i doubt if it counts for too much.

I know that for some it is a real problem. Let's face it though, the numbers are growing out of control of people who have these mental problems like these damn asian lady bugs are growing out of control. Both stink and we all have to live with both. Just like I hope there is a spray that will actually work someday on these pesty lady bugs, I hope that soon there will be a Dr. out there who will find something other than meds that make a person completely different from who they really are and can be to help people with mental problems live a happy life. Sometimes life sucks, but only if we really let it.

You definitely have to pay attention but there are a lot of nice people out there. I've met some and not just in email. I think there are more predators online than in real life but after discounting for that, it's a cross-section.

I just want to meet a woman... One that is not just trying to get a greencard, visa, money, etc...
I don't like going to bars, thats not my scene, so I am online. I just remembered I had an account here on matchdoctor, so I hope maybe to find a real one here.
As of right now, I think I would take a crazy woman over none at all.
