Swingpup, I am from Eastern Iowa, just west of Cedar Rapids. But I am too old for most people on here! Senior citizen discounts are great though! LOL

I'm a fellow Iowan,but I hardly go to this site anymore. I don't know why? In my opinion, I don't think you should leave this site. I live by Walford,IA which is a few miles away from the Amana Colonies.

Eastern Iowa here.
You are right brokenhearted, not to many from Iowa here. Most of the people I ever hear from are from somewhere else. I've decided that people are afraid of internet dating. It's "safer" to get to know someone from farther away that you will probably never meet.

I was looking for a local guy on this site, but ended up with a guy from Phoenix. Oh well, he works for the airline, so at least we didn't go broke seeing each other. Gotta love those free night and weekend minutes on the cell phones also!

hi ! i'm from iowa. Ft. Madison, Iowa. And i rarely see or hear from anyone near me either. This site really is bad for us iowans. Try plentyoffish.com. I have better luck on there, and there are others that are better, you just have to shop around. All this whole finding people thing is a crap shoot anyway. All i can say is GOOD LUCK TO ALL OF US!
