God I hate Online dating sites.
16 views but no responses. So who the f*** is viewing this? If your a woman, and not from the area I have in the topic, why even view it?
Why view a thread if your not going to reply? oh well, at least no one here has tried to get me to sign up for a sex cam site yet.

To find out if the thread is interesting, or not...think about it: look at the ONE LINE you started the thread with, and ask yourself: would YOU respond? There's a bajillion threads that start out almost exactly like that-and the dudes outnumber the dudettes on this site by an ungodly number!

hmmm, lets see, maybe because its in the Iowa forum, and since there aren't many people on from Iowa, I figured that people would be able to figure that out, and since they can click on who started the thred, me, they could view my profile, and then post in the thread if they liked what they read.
Unfortunately I guess that was not good enough.
I just think differnetly then most people I guess.

If someone is inclined to click on your profile -and from my experience on this site, not many people click on any profiles other than out of curiosity- chances are, they would have done a search and found you w/out reading your forum posts.
The best advice I can give for meeting people on MD is to be the initiator: use the search feature, and just start sending emails...don't make them "form letters" either; really talk to the person you're writing to. It works! You'll have to send a lot of emails, to be sure; but the ones that do respond are the ones that are looking for you.
And yeah, I know: Why Don't Women Make The First Move More Often? Some do...but society has conditioned us to think that men do the chasin' after, and the women get chased. It's not right, and it's not fair-it just is what it is. Good Luck!
