No, it's simply RUDE and anyone giving that sort of unsolicited blanket so-called "advice" (ie criticism) reflects upon their character, especially when you have the audacity to refer to ANYONE as "nasty". Perhaps you're deluded in thinking your name is supposed to be "The_AVENGING_angel"

Your opinion is that it's rude. Doesn't make it a fact that it is. But it is a fact that 60% of the American population is overweight, with 30% of that population being obese. And my solicited opinion (this is a forum, where we are free to post anything we want, right?) is that those people are nasty. If you don't like it, don't read. But looking at your profile, and the 1500 posts you've done, I'm sure you will. Ta ta, granny.

The idea of forums is technically for folks to post their opinions, thoughts, etc. While your opinion is as valid as anyone else's here, everyone has a responsibility to be kind in the way in which they state their opinion.

People can, actually, take care of themelves. How they choose to do so, frankly, is probably nunya.
Sounds as if you are trying to take care of "them".
I like skinny people, I like fat people. I suppose I am not a shallow f*** with a WalMart personality, which by the way, I find to be "nasty".
Since giving advice seems to be the order of the day here, why not go out and hug a nasty fat person today and get out of the habit of self praise and grandoisement.

to angel 1075......did it ever occur to you that maybe some people might have a medical problem and not all people look at the outside of someone.....there are people with some heart you know, who want more out of a life than just a no brain millionaire barbie doll everyone needs someone, unlike you , you seem to be in love with yourself, thats too bad that america is the fattest country,,,, DEAL WITH IT! so you may as well start picking out your so called fatty, and learn to love her

There are a lot of people that do have medical conditions that cause them to be overweight/obese. For me, I have a condition called PCOS. I was a figure skater and I had to do alot of working out and to this day I still workout five times a week with a personal trainer and eat healthy. This condition is found in women and it is a very rare disorder. It causes your weight to go way up without any explanation and then you lose weight again. Sometimes a person might remain obese and never lose the weight. I noticed that I had gain so much weight and didn't understand why because I am always working out and eating right. I was in a constant battle with my weight, my heaviest being 250, now I am at 145. I went to the doctor and told her about a program that I saw on the Discovery Channel about PCOS and ask if they could test for that. They tested and sure enough I had it.
But not all people are overweight by choice. Some people do have medical conditions. But those who overeat just to be eating, that is kind of gross and there should be some kind of self-control. You should take care of your body even if it is just walking 10 mins a day or every other day until you build up endurance to do more as well as watching what you eat and how much you take in.

I read all the posts to this forum comment & I have to say I am a mormon & we do not think that people are nasty for being overwieght... we do encourage our members to eat healthy and to treat their bodies right.. but like some others have said there may be health issues in the way of weight loss... I have always been skinny even after having 5 kids in 6 years I was never overwieght ... I always was active (chasing kids ...lol..) and at my heaviest was never anthing over 150lbs and for a female 5ft 6in that is decent for a weight... however after my fifth child I ran into several health conditions like ...hypo-thyroidism.... had a surgery.... and gained a lot of weight fast... tried everything to lose weight ...but it just kept piling on..... i am not going to say what I weigh now... cause even I am sickened with my weight...but it is not fair to judge unless you know the facts... I now have cancer... you would think wow best diet ever everyone with cancer is skinney... well guess what i just keep gaining... I lose a little but am still not losing like a cancer patient would... so my favorite phrase fits in here some where do not judge a book by its cover... I am a good and caring person but I am overweight does that make me bad... nope do not think so.... and I hope you reep what you sow my dear.....
