Look i have been on this site for a very long time. And yes i have talked to a few people , but it seems more women are scared of commitment than the guys on here. What ever happened to the romance or anything for that matter. A lot of the girls i talk to say they have been hurt do you not think guys can get hurt as well. And when a guy is trying to be sincre they think its just another line.

I don't know about everyone else, but most of the men on this site see commitment as something that happens overnight (I'm not talking about you because obviously I don't know you). Everyone that I've run into on this site doesn't know the concept of friendship, all they want is to fall in love, get together, and have yet more heartbreak. What ever happened to romance you ask, well what ever happened to getting to know someone before you commit or get romantic with them? I'm not trying to jump down your throat, that is my opinion on the whole thing. Maybe the "decent guy" (again not talking about you) isn't really that decent at all and maybe it's him that is the problem and not the woman. Hell, maybe both of them are the problem.

i thought it was the other way around most men run from commitment and yes its true that some girls me for instance i got hurt in a relationship and righ tnow i woudlnt want another one cuz i wouldnt be able to trust my self or trust the guy to keep a relationship its hard to just went i want to let go boooooom ! it happens all over again its no wonder girls like me runs i dont know if that will answer your questions but thats how i feel right now

I'm thinking it has less to do with the pain and suffering of past relationship, and more to do with ratios. The "Eligible Bachelorette" to "Eligible Bachelor" ratio on these sites is pretty ridiculous. Simply put, unless something just clicks when you send the message or when your profile gets read, you're going to get ignored a lot, going to get annoyed a lot, and you're going to have to work your ass off to be better than the other 20 options in her inbox. So far I've met one person off here she was attractive and nice but it just didn't work on other standards.

Gee. I have been on here for awhile and I have said the same thing about the men!!
Most of the men i have talked to on here have been someone from Africa who needs someone to send them money or want you to cash a check for them!! Fortunely, Match Doctor does step in and take care of them.

It goes both ways folks it takes 2 to tangle and in some cases that is the problem. Couples or people in general can't use there kids as crutches for one. I know you want newguy/woman to accept them and everything, but its you not them that they need to accept cause if that can't happen then how in the world can anything else happen . I also think that some people rush things am not going to go into specifics or anything, but I think we all know what I am referring to . Um Ky is not different than anywhere else I search OH and IN as much as I do Ky so it isn't just this state . If you think about it technically we all have been hurt cause were either alone or in here for that reason. It shouldn't stop us from trying to meet new people . Whats that old adage If you fall off something you get back on it and learn from it not shy away from it . Why do you think were keeping a dialog like this anyway??? Well gotta bounce am getting tired of writing and am single and looking down here in Walton, Ky. HOLLA
