Date Ideas for So La in the summer

Hey everyone!
There are lots of things to do in this area in the summer, but Lord is it hot!!!!
Anyone got any "cooler" ideas? There is nothing worse than meeting someone with sweat pouring off your face. lol
Just looking for some opinions.

Get your bathing suit on and go play in the fountains at the Shaw Center in Baton Rouge.
Take a canoe trip at the Tickfaw State Park.
Go up to St.Francisville and have a picnic on the sand at Bayou Serra or Thompson Creek.
Just to name a few.

...How bout going to downtown Baton Rouge, walking on the levee, visiting the USS KIDD and the war museum. The old State Capitol is a neat place to check out, and is right there also. Then after that, walk down to the Past Time bar located under the new bridge, and have a burger, or shrimp po-boy, they serve great food. There are also alot of great resteraunts on 3'rd street which is within walking distance also.

Well, like Ive suggested... What about meeting for coffee or cappaccino... Or LATE in the afternoon when its not so hot on the lake...?
