That nastey white stuff. Here in the SouthWestern part of Washington, where i live, the winds and rain are starting to pickup speed. The power companies, already have their trucks out and getting ready, for what could be like the bad floods and wind storms, we had, back in 2006,Blackouts!!!!Blackouts,and landslides, and floods up the butt.We lost our power for nearly 2 weeks,in my mama's home. It was like the blind leading the blind.Try eatting TurkeyHotdogs, raw!!! and peanutbutter sandwiches. The water, was in those store bought bottles,LOL!!!! Hi Hopes . This is a pretty slow forum. Maybe we can get this thing going. I certainly haven't lost interest in Louisiana. I try to blog about things to keep people informed of what is going on down here.
I'm glad to see you here as well.

It is the start of a small Tropical Storm coming in from the Pacific Ocean, and Puget Sound coastline of Washington and Oregon Wow! A tropical storm that far up north on the West Coast!! I'm so used to hurricanes and tropical storms from my time living in Florida and Louisiana. But my goodness! I thought you guys up in Washington State were safe from that nasty tropical stuff. Anyways, be careful up there Hope.
And MetryTechie, it's great to see ya in the forum! Hope we see ya in here a lot more often!!!
Oh... and congrats on the wedding!!!!

Oh!!!! Yeah!!!! fuchia04,they do get Hurricanes up here, right off the Pacific Ocean, into PugetSound. But they are very rare, when we do get them. The storm last year, which they named Hanaka Eve,was only the beginning.Winds then, were higher, and more powerful, than this year, but this storm is not finished with us yet,it could equal the one we had last year.I live in land, but i still get the heavy winds and flooding.
