There is a band with a singer by the name of Avery Michaels that really is an awesome band,they play mostly around the central louisiana area.

I'm from the BR and I'm going with Meriwether who just got signed and moved to Los Angeles last night :( I also like Bag of Donuts, 5 Finger Discount, and Liquid Sand....yeah that's about it ;)

Geez.... I am lucky to live ina very artsy music friendly valley.... I play keyboards and piano with MARS HOTEL.... There's another band that plays classic rock GEEZER..... BAREFEET.....Blue grass....LEFTOVER SALMON.... LEFT HAND SMOKE..... SWAMP MAMMA JOHNSON..... Some of these are on youtube....
don't know how i ended up in Louisianna .... How's everyone doing after Katrina???

...Sonny Landreth, Chris Leblanc (headline act for the fireworks in Baton Rouge). Phil Brady's blues bar rocks in B R. The caterie has good bands also featuring local talent. Rick and Robbins bar is good for the open shirt/gold necklace crowd, lmao, but I don't fit in there as I don't even own any gold necklaces, lmao! The End of The Line bar is a good place to go if you "line dance/boot scoot", and own boots and a cowboy hat, don't fit in there either, lol. No boots in my closet, and I don't even own a hat, or even a ballcap.
