why do men go on dating sites and try to scam women for there money. I am on a dating site called plentyoffish.com also and i discovered someone. I have a feeling he is a internet scammer because i gave him a temporary loan because he said he was robbed but i called the police and there is no such record and plus he told me he was going for test at Lahey clinic and there was no appointment, and plus i found out he is a substitute teacher, not a full pledge teacher so do you think subsittutute teachers belong to a union. this guy lives in fall river, MAss. i need advice ok

Sorry Sam,
You've been scammed. Are you sure about the sub-teacher thing? If so you can track him down. Google this guys name and screen name and see what you come up with.
Advising POF is also important so he doesn't do this to someone else.

yes i did call somerset high school and is a substitute teacher there. he told me he has test again but i don't believe it so i am going to call lahey clinic myself ok. I am calling them tomorrow ok.

Dang, sounds like a scam or, as someone earlier said - you've been used. And that's too bad that there are people out there like that. As a male, I get the same sort of "hits" from ladies here and in another popular website. You think you see someone that might be an interest to you, say hello, and for me, I've ended up with more ladies who say they are from the US but they are "stuck" in Ghana, who have deceased parents and need money to get back to the US, or they want to make a deposit of a large sum of money into your account and only need your bank account number and will "share" the money with you.
I think the safe thing to do is to not offer money but to offer advise to anyone you meet. If they are going to truly be a friend, they will not be asking for money. And friendship is the real foundation of any relationship.........
I hope it doesn't happen again and you really do need to report/track it into whatever website management is available so they don't do it to someone else.
Besides that, I hope you have good luck out there in the world of meeting folks.

well guess i am going to see him again this friday and sat. I am trying to get him to realize that i am good to him and he will pay me back in good faith and plus he is a diabetic and going through rough times right now. He is lucky to have me and plus i really don't think he is using me. Sometimes he tells me i am smothering him but i am not. I leave him messages on the phone and instant messages and i get advice from nurses also.

I dont really think that you want advice. You want someone to tell you that this guy is for real. I am a counselor and I deal with both woman and men who have such low self esteem. You can do whatever you want. Remember though he will continue to do what he is doing. What do you believe is so wrong with you that you dont deserve a nicer guy. Figure that out before you get in a relationship with anyone.

I am sorry that it happened to you ! Now the last thing, you want is to hear from another guy. But all I am going to say is that : Once you are on these Dating sites. You are chancing it more with your Heart ; than your Mind.
I know that you maybe just looking for " Friendship " here. And, that is fine. But sometimes, these guys want more than just "sex" and "money". They just enjoy the thrill have ruining another person's Heart. And, that is wrong !
To me, they have no character and they should be accountable for their stupidity.

No, I have not been scammed by this guy from Fall River. Nor, would I even fall for his "sweet and tender" scam ( if I was a female ). Because, if he is "too Good to be true, well ... I am sure he probably is".
It goes to show that, once you interwine with these "immature men" online, you are gambling with your Heart. Not with your Mind.

If you go to {email address removed} sign up for free there are stories and pictures of scammers that they stole from models of men and women
also you can find other links too
or try Focus International Hawaii there are pictures of men women and children that scammers are using.
I know that I have seen some pictures that were sent to me
