I'm not sure how to go about starting conversations or saying "hi" to females on here,I would like to meet males&females on here, but I don't want tha females to think I am interested in anything more than conversation and friendship, Are women on here only to meet men??

lol, no...not all women are on here to meet men..and not all men are on here to meet women. i enjoy this site cause i have so many friends that i've met from the gatherings...and MOST of them are women...sunbabe, pali, soli, lacey, katt...
it helps if you can make it to a gathering...and if you feel like talking to someone-write to them...it's free... 
glad to see you got the 'new thread' thing figured out...

I couldn't of dont it w/o you Danger, Thanks  I don't know if they have gatherings here in tha thumb, they had one in porthuron but that is a hike for me......It's good to know tha gatherings are'nt just for "connections"

some do make 'connections' at the gatherings...but the most of them, go just to meet those they have met thru the site.
i've been to only a couple of the gatherings...the furthest i have gone is to St. Louis, MO. one day...i hope to go to CA. but if you do get a chance to get to any of the MI gatherings...they are worth it...lots of nice people-even if it is a drive.
last years Mt. Pleasant gathering was great!

It was great! Very fun to put names with faces and find out everyone is just as crazy (in the best way) as they are here.

not12 I totally agree w/ you, you can be w/o make up and hair sticking up and your friends still love you, I think when dating someone there is more pressure to look cute/ handsome, put more effort into yourself

I am transgendered and living my life as the lady I know I am.I was married for forty wonderful years to a very understanding wife until she passed away Last September of 2006. Before she passed, she told me to live my dreams and that is what I am doing. I am looking for friendship only from both men and women.

I think it is great! Why not! It is also nice to get to know we dont always have to be looking for just MEN all the time.. and it is great to have women as friends... LOVE IT!

hello al. i think is is good to be friends with anyone. the one that is getting a change of gender. i hope you find jesus soon. becouse your heart is evil. sorry if that offends others. but i am nor sorry if it offends gays. i am against the gay life still and will not back down for it. the person maybe nice but the life style needs a overhall. i have a friend that is gay. he is nice and i pray for him all the time. he knows this and is still my friend. but to say meeting both sexes on this sight is not a bad thing. i think it could be good to find some good friends big potenal to witness to others.

At the top of the page, in the dating forums heading, click on the MAIN button, you will find yourself at the Main page. Scroll down and click on the religion thread and you are there. You will find folks from all over, some are from Michigan, some are not. You will quickly find people of like mind, I have developed friendships from all over the world, although most are here in the USA. Please don't hesitate, because they are not local, people come and go all the time, I am hoping to get more people from Michigan to explore these forums, you really get to know someone, when you read their opinions.

You might keep that in mind.
When people like stealth go around attacking people the way he did, they need to be called on it.
He was wrong for assaulting Juliecd. God will punish him for that.
