Posts: 152 I don't know about anyone else here, but this version of the flu SUCKS. Yeah, we've all been sick with this at one time or another and it's never any fun. But this version just seems to be worse than other versions. Mean and viscious, taunting you with semi-good feelings at one moment and slamming you with all it's force the next. I feel good enough to go to work in the morning... a bit slow but good enough... and about two hours later I feel like someone has parked a semi truck on my chest and my muscles feel like someone has beaten me with a baseball bat.

I don't recommend this to anyone out there.

So if any of you are anywhere near someone who has these symptoms, stay clear. If some dolt at work wants to show how committed they are by showing up with this crap, stay clear if you can and remind the boss this is what sick days are for. Maybe the boss will get the hint and force that other person home. I just wish my boss had done the same.

Posts: 9,752 I know what you mean. It lingers too! I have been fighting it for over a month now. I'm to the point where I feel pretty good for a couple days, then it all comes back!
