Reason I say this... I have not found anyone.. and I wonder if people are really looking for a real relationship or just on line for fun... YOU KNOW... I for me,, would do anything if I knew the man for me,, go further then my all to meet that relationship between each other..
WOULD YOU??? HOW FAR WOULD YOU REALLY GO TO BE WITH THE WOMAN OR MAN THAT YOU REALLY LIKE SO MUCH TO MAKE IT WORK?

All the way...but not on a first date, I'm not a tramp. 
But seriously, I'm not going to travel very far to meet someone new but if she were local and we got involved andit happened and then she moved away. Well it would be mostly a matter of finances, can I afford to go with her etc.

I wouldn't go that far unless I knew for sure, and how could you know for sure if your relationship was long distance to begin with. I, personally do not do long-distance relationships because they do not work out. I have tried it twice and both times it failed...so no, I wouldn't go the ends of the earth for a relationship.

Is there a ‘right’ or ‘wrong’ to this question … ? I think the answer is different for everyone.
Personally I think that, if someone starts out with an agenda (such as a ‘LTR’ or marriage) then they are already doomed to failure.
Dating should be a fun and natural process. If a relationship blooms, then it was meant to be … and not a ‘forced’ relationship.
Some people also have unrealistic expectations, they are looking for the ‘fairy tale’ ending, so no one ever measures up … and they are always disappointed.
One additional comment, if you can’t find happiness with someone in your own area, what makes you think you’ll find it with someone hundreds of miles away?
These are, of course, general statements, and although rare …. there are exceptions.
Good luck to you all …. hope you get the ‘fairy tale’ ending …. as for me I’ll let life, and God guide me …

To answer the original question without being a goofball, I'd say not too far. The bottom line is that it has to be a two way street, and all too often in my life I have discovered that there are far too many people that just don't grasp that concept. Because of that, I'd not go too far until I was absolutely sure the person was on the same wave-length as myself. Discovering that sometimes takes time, there's just no way around that.
As for geographical distance, it's the same thing times 100. Distance is a killer for me. I just don't see the point in having to drive hours to see someone I care about once in a blue moon when her busy schedule meshes with my busy schedule. Those that might offer the other side of the debate that love knows no bounds either have a lot of time on their hands, a lot of dough to spend on plane tix/gas, or just haven't realized the PIA side of it.
My $.02 fwiw.

I would go have cross the world if I needed to. I did do something like in fact I live in louisville,ky but made it work with a girl that almost 400 miles away in Whitelake,MI. we dated for almost two years before we parted ways as friends.

Went all the way to Australia to be with someone....met my soul mate but was young at the time and decided who the hell was I going to call to help me out if it didn't work etc....I was over 12,000 miles around the world! 
I miss that girl to this day!
