Well, here it is Sunday..it's even Sunday night. The weekend is almost over. UGH 
Ended up having my weekend off, by not having it off. Hate when ex's don't take their fair share of the child rearing.  Really sucks.

I understand what you're saying "Nanook"....myself, I am happy when my ex can't fulfill her duties in that area, cause I only get my kids half the time (and it's not enough) but many of you have them full time and that must get old at times not having "you time"....Frankly, I am much more happy when I have them around, especially come summer....now ask me again in a few yrs when they hit that rebellious teen age and that may all change! It does get a bit more difficult I'm sure and thats why I am cherishing every moment now while we are still very close....this weekend, in a weak moment, ( I was reminiscing back to a few summers ago my dad used to let the girls "style" his hair, they would curl it, put bows in it along with little pony tails while he read the paper.....him being gone since July, I guess I just wanted a bit of that feeling back....you know, better times....*sigh*) I let them cut my hair....the 13 yr old was too timid....the 10 yr old was a bit too wild with the scissors and lo and behold.....the 8 yr old took over and honestly...she did an alright job! I was thinking I'd have to go to the barber afterward but I swear....I really don't need to! lol and hey....$20 is $20! Anyhow.....hang in there all....this winter will end....eventually.......

Sure....it's all fun and games to the bystanders....but I was in the hotseat! Can't say I wasn't a wee bit apprehensive....I had visions of having to shave my head to even things out, and frankly, this head wouldn't look good bald!....but alls well that ends well....do you think I could charge admission next time?!
