Spring HAS sprung...

Apr 16 @ 12:31 PM Spring HAS sprung...     Danger Posts: 1,180 now i know it's spring...softball and baseball has started! my daughter is in the 9th grade of high school and had their first game last night. the team over all was fairly good. you could tell they still needed some extra work on a few things but over all...good....except for one girl-'heather'. they had a double header..the first game my daughter was playing 1st base. to me, there has to be a good catcher on the bases-otherwise you just throw the game. well the 1st game was close but they lost. they had a 'lunch' break and back to the 2nd game. this time heather was placed on 1st base. during warm up, the girls all take a ball and throw them to each other...well every ball that went to heather-she missed. if they went passed her, she wouldn't get them...she stood on the bag! i was ready to go choke her..but i thought maybe that's how she 'warms up'.... get into the game...the bases are loaded and the ball is hit directly to the pitcher-she caught it but dropped it and threw it to 1st base. heather just watched as the ball rolled past her!! she did this like 3 times!! i was sooooo upset! the girls had a big lead in the first inning-up by 5 but they ended up losing by almost 20!!! thank gosh they only play 5 innings per game. during the 4th inning i had to go to the van not only to warm up...but so i wouldn't kill that 'heather'....   Apr 19 @ 7:06 PM Spring HAS sprung...     illusion790 Posts: 16 yes, Spring has arrived in West Michigan!!   Apr 19 @ 7:26 PM Spring HAS sprung...     illusion790 Posts: 16 ok...I had to polish my toenails today..it is FLIP FLOP weather!
