You seem to be the exception to the rule then. Do you not seem to see most men here looking for women much younger then their age? Seems to me too be.

I'm sure there are many that do, but I don't think that is as common as you think. There are plenty of more mature gentlemen that would appreciate a more mature woman out there. Just takes time to find the right one. Usually, the ones that want a much younger woman have some issues and prefer someone that makes them feel younger...more aligned to their maturity level. We all have our preferences. Many younger men contact me...and I simply don't want to be bothered with them.
Best of luck to you.

It really takes a mature mind to realize maturity can be very appealing, both physically and emotionally....I myself find that many women get so much sexier when they have a few so called "flaws". Honestly...sometimes I wonder if its selfish on my part in the sense that it makes my flaws less part of the overall equation....if that makes any sense! lol

Seems to me that there are a lot of women out there that are also looking for a man that is younger than their age. I've seen this here and on another site I used to browse. As for the women, I think it's now the vogue thing to find a younger guy, thus the intentional search or initial statement on their profiles that this is what they seek.

As for men, and to be terribly blunt (so please forgive me if I offend), there is always that idea of "young and fresh", perhaps to relive something, perhaps to minimize "baggage" concerns. I'm sure revealing that will cause other men on here to disparage my statement or me personally, but generally speaking it's the truth. (For what it's worth, one might say the same reasons reside with women that seek the same in discovering a younger man via internet intorduction or otherwise.) One could get into the psychology behind all of that, but I'll leave that to a professional in that field.

Ms Mary and you say nearly the same thing. I tend to agree with you both. It's somewhat sad that we are never satisfied/comfortable with ourselves getting older. I personally am happy with the way I have aged and need not a younger man to validate that. Oh well...life and to each his own.

...and you are married! I wouldn't like to think that you may like older women because you think you might be doing them a favor. Of course, some you might. But I would hate to think how many others have done the favors also...yuck.

I agree with you Ms Mary... Some do feel as thou they are helping us out. As if were are all so desperate we'd settle for whatever came our way. And as you said, that me be the case for some. however I certainly do not think that is the rule.

Married??? You fall into that same catagory as the freaks looking for money$.
Go talk to your wife (or husband?) and clean that mess up first.

Before "marriedman" is completely vilified on here, let's offer the benefit of the doubt. There is a sub-culture out there where couples co-exist in "open" relationships. I have actually met a couple of people (but not "known" in the carnal sense, fwiw) where they practice this type of thing. While "marriedman" has not indicated why is is looking outside of his marriage, I think it might be better to not throw the baby out with the bath water by making an assumption.

On the other hand, I do think the adult matchdoctor side of this site might be better suited for his search. The matchdoctor side seems to cater to those seeking a more meaningful relationship in one way or another.

Just offering a tempered voice here. I'm not wishing to completely hijack your thread "outdoorgirl4u".

Must agree. I believe that "marriedman" is perhaps subscribing to the wrong site. Woe unto him. However being a newbee to this type of interaction, I can only imagine the myriad mistakes I've already made. (such as that judgemental post!!)
Guess I'll keep trying.

My thoughts weren't meant as a reprimand to anyone "gmarie10", so I hope you didn't take it that way. Just an observation.

Your so right! However...if he is NOT in an open relationship my thoughts of him remain the same! Get out of one before you enter, or look, for another. And to be honest further...I did not even look at his profile as I went on Ms Mary's comment and that I should not have done either. So for that I am sorry. I do not take your comment as a lashing either.

I am looking for someone around the same age... Call me original but I have always thought about sharing my life with someone and growing older and more in love the longer we were together!! If there is a lady out there like that I'm sure I will find her! But I have to agree with a few of the guys in this board... Men like to go for younger basically to feel young again in hope for a second chance to relive their life! Maybe they were in a bad relationship with an ex and wanted to find someone young that would be more about going out to parties or dance clubs, not to say that someone the same age as him wouldn't want to do the same thing! Or maybe he just wants someone that looks young in hopes that will make him feel more wanted or desired... It's so hard to figure out why people do things even the ones that are educated about it have difficulties figuring it out themselves!!
