I need ideas for a child's Birthday in Michigan.
Ive thought of the obvious,
Splash Universe
Frankenmuth (bavarian inn lodge is great for families) Something we can stay over night and do.
We have basically covered most day trips this year. (The Zoo, Greenfield Village, The Henry Ford,)
But i'm trying to find something else, a new idea. Maybe somewhere i haven't thought of before.
We have yet to go to Holland and Silver Lake..... would that be a suitable place?
Any new ideas anyone?
Maybe something you've done with your child in the past?
I'd like to stay in Michigan but i wouldn't have a problem driving a few hours South. Ohio or Indiana.
Got an idea, throw it out there. I would appreciate it.

Gee! All you need do is ask, really simple isn't it. I have been to Kalahari twice now and will return in the fall of this year. Kalahari, is in Sandusky Ohio and in the Dells of Wisconsin. It's build as the biggest water park of north America. Have fun.

well depending on the age, there's always the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, I took my step daughter there and she loved it, plus she was 9.
Also you can try Ceder Point, I know in August they have "Light Nights" where the park is open later and everything gets a cool light effects.

Well for next year, you can always try Mackinac Island, many tubing float trips down the rivers, ( Muskegon river), or many others, they also have canoe trips.
If it is mid August you can go to the NASCAR race in Brooklyn.
Camping, and add in a horseback ride or something.
If not Cedar point. Michigans adventure, right next to Lake Michigan.
Sleeping bear sand dunes.....
RWR, you can always take me to greenfield village for my birthday....
Oh, way up north, near Alpena, they have shipwreck tours, in a glass bottomed boat.. Very cool, some of the ships are intact, and are hundreds of years old..
And you can always just grab a map, and a few fliers of different places, and take a road trip, stop where ever you like..... make it an adventure...
I should ask, boy or girl? And what age?
