well after talking with a few ladies on here, the consensus i've found is that they don't want to because of all the pshyco's out there (understandable) or they want you to get to know them first before you get a picture (not so understandable) but either way, if you want ot get to know someone, sometimes you gotta play the game.

well it really depends on what your looking for, most of the people on this site that are active are older from what i can tell and are just looking for a date and someone to talk to.
If your looking for hot young girl who will put out on the first date, then buddy the only type of girls that will do that are either really dumb or you have to pay for it, i suggest the latter because it's a lot easier to go that route.
But if what your interested in is finding someone to fall in love with then i suggest getting out and meeting some people because the girls on here are way to particular about who they will talk too, because 98% will look at your profile and write you off immediately (That's an actual figure between profiles views and winks/e-mails) i'm not just making that up.
But whatever you decide to do, good luck and may god bless you and keep you safe.

Every site has it's good and bad. Alot of us are very particular, and why not??? I have met a few that are worth getting to know better. Just as in every day life, some people are worth getting to know better. I do admit that at your age, you are very young to be making such rash judgements about people. Sit back and get to know someone before you decide to throw them in the trash.

your right every sight has its good and bad and i really dont look on the internet to meet the love of my life i have a women i see on and off for years now but some women on these sights need to learn some manners or they will end up living alone like my aunt

lol, ok, first we women HAVE to be picky. You guys ( sorry to the ones that are not like this!!) take one look at our pics and decide if your ging to write us off. You don't even look at our profiles to see who we are or want we may want. You just go ugly, no thanks, and never find out about us. If that is the case, you should not blame the ladies for being more than a little picky. You should just thank you lucky stars that even one is willing to chat with you, particuarly if you only log on to laugh at us.

It's like most dating sites, it is what you make of it. Most dating sites have more men than women, so they can afford to be picky. (And why most dating site operators keep using women's pictures to advertise is beyond me, especially if they want people to have some sort of success on their site. After all, success on a dating site is going to breed more positive word of mouth, and more participants. Continually showing pics of pretty female models is just going to keep bringing in more men.) Anyway, beinging in more women would generate a better ratio for all to enjoy.
And FWIW, posting on the forums is a nice way to get better acquainted with others as well as a nice way to put yourself out there for others to get a better idea of who you are.

I tend to agree with that, BUT if a wo/man is looking, she (or he) is most likely to be looking for the one. I do not look at the pictures alone. I look at the profile and all. On the other hand, the pic's do catch the eye. So, if your pic is online and you don't get the responce you want, do not assume that it is your pic. It may be something in your profile. It could be something small and unimportant like how far you may be willing to travel for that someone special.

Well i know that healthy habits are a big thing that i look for, because i want to be with that person for a long time, if your a smoker or overweight i will pass you over, nothing personal. I just want to be with my mate a long time once i finally find her =) And i know the other side to the argument would be, "Well you could die at ANY time" I know, but I can still control the things I can right?

The sad thing is, that's not too far from the truth. Guys in Michigan are iffy to begin with. Add in the unemployment rate escalating and more and more stories appearing about psychos trying to date rape women and murdering their girlfriends, and we start looking even less attractive.
Of course I don't include myself in the catagory of "crap from Michigan", but that's to be expected; I'm bootiful.
