Just tell them you are not interested. If they continue to bug you threaten them with a restraining order, or get a new hottie to hang all over you.
I guess telling their parents some strange stuff might help too...

Move, and leave no forwarding address? There is no way I would go to such an extreme. If someone thinks they don't have to leave me alone, they have another thing coming.
Best thing to do is be very careful with whom you get invloved. Look for the telltale signs; they will be there. Also, trust your instincts.

I wasn't kidding.
Actually, I never had to deal with a clingy ex. I did once have to deal with a woman's clingy ex. She was to blame though I found out later on. Glad that's all in the past. I learned to see the signs.

Have a friend call them posing as a detective for the local police dept. Ask them to cooperate by allowing a tap to be placed on their phone line to help collect evidence against you for a violent crime in which you are the prime suspect.
If they want more details, inform them you are, for the second time in recent history, suspected of murdering your pregnant wife/wealthy husband, weighing him/her down with concrete and dumping the lifeless body overboard.
Which, besides being against the law, is a violation of your parole, as was not registering as a sex offender, which was a condition of your release from the asylum after you forced your last girlfriend/boyfriend to have sex with your dog while you filmed the event for subsequent masturbation material!
If that doesn't kick them to the curb, nothing will!

thats just COLD! the person who is being dumped will feel as worthless and broken as it is without callin them a loser, ppl who cant be honest and civilised about it with them are liars and cowards, it them that turn ppl into hating the opposite sex and gettin revenge by using them.

This is about CLINGY that is the key word distinction.
Yes, A clingy loser that has nothing in common with you anymore but REFUSES to move on and fights it to no end.
