I remember having the feeling that I could never be happy again without her in my life.
I had that feeling again today .... it's been a long time since that thought has gone through my mind, thought that was over.
I'm still not sure that feeling was wrong.

DR, I hope you can forgive me when I say I hope I never have to relate...
And because I cannot any words of comfort such as "I'm sure there is happiness just not the same kind." may sound a bit hollow to you.
Just know that the sentiment behind it rings true.

Sometimes it really bothers me that I have our old king size bed all to myself. Then I'll wake up to 2 greyhounds, a hound mix, and a rat terrier all piled in it with me. My newest family member (another stray) would be in the bed too but she's too old to jump up. 
No wonder I'm not actively looking for a b/f.....there's no room!

Someone to do home projects with.
The laughing and talking together while we did them.
The sex during those projects in the oddest places.
His willingness to play board games and let loose...be child-like because he knew it made me happy.
Too bad his mother was such a nut case.

How long have you been together and how long have you been since you separated?
I am asked this often. As odd as it seems I have a hard time answering it.
I am not sure how to define how long we were together or how long we have been separated.
I suppose you could say something like six years, but how do you define when it ended?
When we realized we could not go on?
When we stopped seeing each other regularly?
When we stopped seeing each other completely?
After the last time we made love?
When I stop thinking of her every day?
I'm not sure if I am just in denial, or if we are still together even though we don't talk. Do you count this time or not.

How she taught me to toss the Tommy Hawks.
How she made fun of me cause I couldnt give her a kiss while she and her mom skinked deers.
But that was my yesterdays, they are gone. I am so looking forward to what my new tomorrow will bring.

Well I'm not broken up but I can't have those little things...
- Turning and smiling at him whenever I want
- Waking up before him in the morning and running my fingers through his soft blond hair
- Laying in my bed in the morning and watching daytime talk shows
- Giving each other hugs for no reason
- Making breakfast and drinking coffee together
- Long talks while we lay in bed
- Sitting around with our laptops playing nintendo
- Playing SmackDown vs RAW 2009 against one another, then watching him play it himself
- Holding his hand
- Smelling him
