Since I am asked this question, I figured this was a good spot to put it out for everyone to see. You will come to the conclusion, as I did, that the fault was
entirely hers.
She told me we couldn't afford beer anymore and I'd have to quit.
Then I caught her spending $65.00 on make-up.
And I asked how come I had to give up stuff and not her.
She said she needed the make-up to look pretty for me.
I told her that was what the beer was for.

I've had a few of them. The last was because he thought he got rid of his baggage, then he apparently found it again. I sure know how to pick 'em.

For me it came to this " We could not live together so why do it" . The only thing I would never give up is my morning coffee . That will never happen. I don't think that is asking to much

So she could marry the guy she was sleeping with behind my back. I think I should send him some flowers.

he's screwed up with an oedipus complex. he'll be in the relationship for one week, kind of in it for another week, and then telling me to never contact him again another week. he always wants to be left alone. he doesn't want to talk to anyone. he goes to school, work, and home. it's so bad that everybody thinks it's b.s. i know it isn't because i know him very well and i know he wouldn't lie, but the whole thing gets quite old after awhile and i put up with it because i'm stupid and in love.

Hmmmm......sleeping with someone that he hadn't already slept with "in high school", Yep, that really was his excuse, has to top the list. And, another huge one, physically abusing my daughter, while I was at work and then threatening her not to tell me. Actually that one is the number 1 reason in itself.

mmm....we split up because of clashes in our policy. i got attracted to a very intelligent professional known to the linux world and very famous in his field. i knew it all along at the outset but i thought i could live with that but realized later i'm too independent to put up with that and have my own policy to follow. he still have respect and admiration for me though....one reason why he let me become one of the few admins of the huge webmaster site he owns.

Actually we never really "split up" in so many words. We lived in different states and only saw each other about one weekend a month. (I was faithful - and assume he was too). We had planned a nice long 10 day vacation at the beach. It was the first time we had spent a long time together, and it was obvious we didn't like the same things. He wanted to stay up til early early in the morning and go to the beach around noon, only for a walk at that! He drank lots at night and apparently mostly wanted to sit in a recliner and watch TV!!!.
When we got home, neither of us has contacted the other yet . That was a month ago, and I have no desire to see or hear from him again!!

my last g/f decided she wanted to live as an outlaw, do drugs, sleep around, and hurt people, and didn't want a boring and suburban life....

We split up because I didn't like that there was somebody else other than me.
And because I didn't like it when he said I couldn't leave him because he was my life.
We split up because I guess, I respected my being a woman... and I won't put up with anything like that.
And I'm happier now.
