Why Did They Really Leave Me?

It is always easy to explain why my partner has gone away. It has taken me various amounts of time(my suffering phase) to work out the story I hope others will see as sounding so reasonable for it to not have worked...and I always carry less than 50% of any blame. I come off as the slighted one.
What can I discover about my behavior that caused my partner to leave, often at great risk to financial or social positions. I would think that future partners would like to know this part of my history as I would want to know theirs. Even if I say I didn't see it coming, was I blind to their behavior and deaf to what was being said?
An old friend always reminded me that whoever left first just volunteered to be the bad guy...and that a peron only leaves a relationship if their needs are not being met in it.
Are my potential partners at all curious? Should they be? Why would I not want to know?

I placed my dreams ahead of theirs, and showed in my actions that I would give little energy other than talk to their dreams...
I teased or ridiculed them when they shared the deeper part of themselves with me, I didn't safeguard them with my acceptance and understanding....
I withheld my forgiveness when they were human, if I said I forgave I held onto my hurt...
I didn't love who they were...
I made it hard for them to continue loving me...they left to ease their pain.

No, he was a SmartAss .......he knew you didn't want to be around him so he "left you before you left him" to save face.....may also have saved you from further harm and any potential harm he may have caused your family.
I think he knew what he was capable of, and decided he didn't want to spend the rest of his life in prison and so finally walked his sorry ass away.

Oh, I dont mean to sound like Im sad he left. Thank f***ing god he did...he hurt me so bad...I did everything I possibly could to make him break up with me and when he finally did...he started giving these excuses like I was with my friends to much and s*** like that.
He was rotten and I hope he rots. Is that bad?
Oh, and thank you for the hug. I needed it.

It's never bad to be honest about how you feel.....just know how to channel your hurt and anger in a healthy way so that it does not destroy you but instead helps you heal

It is a very rare thing for me Jankia to become involved in any serious disagreement. Not my place to sit in judgement, but then again here I be... and possibly you may want to relook at your attitude towards these women and your words. Very harsh and shocking. Religious, Spirtual, Christain or whatever way you see yourself, this is just plain "ugly"
