what is the best movie you ever saw. well i have seen a lot of good movies as many of you have also. i would have to say that toumbstone is my favorate and has been for the last few years. with val kelmer as my hero doc holliday. i patray a image of doc holliday with the single action shooting society. that is a very interesting site to visit to see just what it is about. it is compition cowboy shooting, fast draw contest. one of our members, bob mundon has been on tv a lot on a hunting program. and on the program he shows several feats that he has accomplished. this guy is listed in the world book records as the fastest gun that ever lived. he can draw and shoot his target in .205 sec. thats less than a quarter of a second. thats fast. he has shot a thin dime out of the air with a 45 long colt, he has shot a asprin off of the head of a nail with a rifle. he is a fast gun so don't piss him off

the one movie that i have seen reciently of which i really never watch war movies because it bothers me too much from spending 39 months in viet nam. i forgot the name of it but it has mel gibson in it and it is about a specific time during viet nam. i must say this movie was very well done and unlike a lot of movies it was very much real to life of how it actually was.

now if you want to laugh till your sides hurt you watch the movie what about bob. i have seen this movie so many times i had to buy it. i laugh as much about that move today as i did the first time i ever saw it. but whats really funny is the way my brother laughs at it.

tell me about your movie experiences and hilli i am not talking about the drive in with the blond either. i got a few of those stories too. speaking of drive inns they are almost a thing of the past. we have one here in moberly and there was one in macon untill the tornado took the screen down. those are the only two i know of around. anyone know where some drive inns are at. doc

I'm not a movie fan but my fav's are the old Clint Eastwood series around the times of 'High Plains Drifter' and those types of movies he did.

Braveheart is my all time favorite. Mel Gibson was tremendous in the role of William Wallace. Mel is perfectly suited to play a military man/leader. He was also great in the Patriot, and in We Were Soldiers. Being ex-military, I appreciate a good war story.

Hey doc. I live in St. Louis and we haven't had any drive ins around for I'd say 8 or 10 years. I hear that there is one across the river in Illinois, but that's the only one I know of. It's a shame because going to the drive in is good way to spend an evening.

Best movie????? That's a hard one because I've seen many. Course, I have to rate Dirty Dancing quite high on my list (perhaps #1). Then, Body Guard, Dances with Wolves . . . . just way to many to mention or for me to recall.

Doc, you put a tough one on here this time. Tough only in the sense of . .. how many do you want us to mention?

I dunno. I havent watched a movie in sooo long. I used ta like watchin old Gunsmoke reruns when I hadda chance. Beins my cable runs from the antenna to the TV, I havta rent movies to watch. And the one local rental place has a different view of whats good than I do.

Bout the drive-ins. theres one not too far from Harrisonville, over on the Kansas side. Still an ol Mom an Pop sorta place. Was there a few years ago. Well, when "Fast an Furious" was first out. I was surprised they had first run movies. Brought back old memories. And I think the "Twin Drive-in" is still operating up on 291 in KC.
