Tonight, outta pure desire for sumthin different, fixed oriental deer steaks.
First I slice bouta half dozen tenderlion steaks. Being careful to remove the grisel. Then beat the piss outta them with a tenderizing mallet. Then soak them inna solution made as below.
bout half dozen squirts of worchestershire sauce bout three squirts of stir fry sauce bouta squirt anna half of teriaki sauce bout three drops of liquid smoke a sprinkle of ginger and a gracious dusting of garlic powder
turn on the george forman grill and toss a tater in the microwave. Put deer steaks in george an cook bout 2 1/2 minutes. Butter tater an pour remaining sauce on tater. Go sit an watch news while eating supper.
Wernt half bad. Purty dang tasty if I dont say so myself. Was fast an easy.

Hillbilly, my favorite breakfast is three eggs, hashbrowns, two deer tenderloins and a generous portion of hen-of-the woods mushrooms sauteed in garlic butter. Somebody ripped off my two last backstraps so I've done without for a while. The bastards.

cola or beer if its buck, milk if its doe or fawn, the biggest trick to all of it is how its cooked, seasoned and prep time

Bah! I dont soak mine in nuttin. Just beat the tar outta it with a meat mallet an either roll in flour with garlic and pepper, or coat in sumthin I throw together. Like that marinade i posted above. Always have garlic an pepper. The other stuff varies.
I spose you put ketchup on fish, too?
