there are not many new people coming to md. when i hit search i only get two people and one hasn't been on here for 3 months.  i guess you call that slim pickins. has anyone ever had any uplifting news from meeting someone on here or am i just in a bad area?  if it wasn't for the forum and a few of em like lacy that puts a comment in here and there and ole hilli's mouth i probably wouldn't come on here. we need to get some new stuff going liven this place up a tad bit.

satman, I think doc meant MD/Matchdoctor not as in Maryland 
I don't even search on MD anymore, hardly ever do I get the occasional wink or letter and if I do and then I reply back to that letter and offer my yahoo IM to them, I don't get anymore from them at all.
I signed up on plenty of fish and have had a few nibbles but have only met one person over there, to which he complained or commented a lot that I go home a lot, well gee, it's 'home' what can I say.
anyway, I haven't talked to him in a couple of weeks, and we got along really good at first.
I still hang out on the message boards but I've met someone else offline but we're taking things slow.

I think all the boards are slow. Heck even my own has slowed down. And date hookup has too if it wernt for us regulars. Talk about sarcasm at its finest. Whew!
Dang, and ya mean ta tell me Stil is cheatin on us, Doc?
Oh yeah, MD has been the universal abreveation for Match Doctor for ever.
Then Maryland hadda go and copy it.  Maryland orta be ML not MD. Duh, what were they thinkin?

Doc. perhaps our topics are just not as interesting as the main room, reckon? Still we get several hits on some things, but no comments. I admit, even I have not been saying much, but I've been very sick not saying much period.
Please, anyone from Missouri start up a subject, the rest of us will kick in I'm sure. That's all it takes, is a subject!!!!!!

thats too bad your not feeling well lacy. hope your doing better soon. it kinda reminds me of last year. i got sick around the middle of dec and stayed sick till around april. every two or three weeks it was go to the dr and get a shot. be ok for a week and here it started up again. being sick isn't much fun.

MD has been hit very hard the past month with scammers, and I think many of the female posters are a bit apprehensive posting here anymore. I know I am.
I was contacted four weeks ago by a man that ended up being a scammer from Nigeria. Luckily, I got smart and listened to my brain and not my heart without losing any money, but it made me feel very humiliated, not to mention untrusting of many of the posts right now. Tonight is the first time I've been on the site since in December.
I now belong to the site called romancescamsgroups@yahoo. One of the moderator's works with the FBI and she posted saying that many of the victims have been contacted through MD and a singles site. They'll never catch all these creeps, but their gaining. Eventually, I think you'll see the site begin to get busier.
For right now, I'm just cruisin' the profiles, looking things over.

good grief what was your first clue did it have anything to do with the word nigeria? there are scamers all over the internet. nothing is going to wipe them all out! but now here in missouri forum we are just cutting up. not much serious talk at all no one trying to sell anything or get anyone to send us money. the reason for that is i dont' have any and hilli is too tight with his money.  but you might be able to talk hilli out of a goat or two if you catch his fancy. see this is how it started with hilli. a few years back, not saying how many ole hilli thought he would become a male escort service, (male prostitute) well he talked to this farmers daughter she didn't have any money but she didn't think that her daddy would miss one goat so she offered and hilli said why not she was looking so nice with all the curves in the right places and all the bumps in order. well i havn't quite figured it out yet but either this gal told a bunch of her girlfriends about the deal she got with hilli or she has been there many many times. so thats why hilli is known as "the goat hearder" but that dont' make him all bad. hilli keeps sending me these 27-30 year olds from china phillipines and all over the world to me and i have no idea what i would do with a gal that young. i thought about trying to do like hilli did and in my spare time when i don't have any customers i could always tend to the goats but i don't know if missouri could handle to goat hearders or not.

Doc,
you lost me at hilli..LOL, which isn't surprising since I've not had alot of sleep. I'm just saying that many of us are a bit "skittish" right now to come and check things out. I'm from Missouri, lived here all my life and doesn't look like I'll be leaving anytime soon. I hate the fact that there are creeps out there like what I described. It's makes it hard for the good ones to shine, if you know what I mean.
I'm sure in a few weeks, this site will be busy - all those young women looking for their Valentine's sweetheart.  Just hang on a bit more...

and you guys, you know I'm not cheatin' on ya, have to meet ya first, go out a bit first and then go out with someone else to actually be cheatin' on ya LOL
and what Lacy says is true...there are more topics and more people on the main forum than there are in each of the state forums; I go over to the main forum from time to time, but I usually always come here first, well after I go to my other message boards online, of course
