98% of Chinese profiles are set up by paid interpreters (these are fake and very dishonest). The interpreters are paid by there client to find them a Western husband, most do not speak English even though it may say they do in there profile.
The interpreters read and answer the emails that are sent to the (fake profiles…) the client never even reads the emails that you send to her.
The interpreter will tell you everything you want to hear just to get you to obtain a Passport and Visa, fly to China to meet them… This will usually cost you about $2,000 to $3,000. this includes plain tickets that cost about $1,200.00 Depending on how long you’re off work and how long you stay in China.
The Chinese women have nothing invested in you coming to see them. They know that even when you find out they can’t speak English or that their picture was doctored to make them look prettier you may still marry them so that you don’t feel you will leave with “nothing”.
The Chinese women don’t care if you’re fat, bald or handicap and in a wheel chair… (No slam to those in a wheel chair but I had to make this important point) the main goal it to get a green card to live in the US… they know that they can always divorce you later.
These women call naive American men “Western tickets”.
Other women from other countries do the same thing but the biggest percentage comes from China.
They may even give you their client’s phone number so you can call them. But they can only say “I love you” or “I miss you” because this is what the translator told them to say whenever you call them.
Avoid the fake profiles that often will say in there email or profile that they are “traditional” or “honest” Traditional Chinese women do not pay an interpreter to find them a white western husband. Also the emails they send to you will ask in the first email to send them an email to an alternate email address.
Avoid the profiles with “glamour shot pictures”
Emails they send are most always a pre-written “form letter”.
These women are usually well educated, smart and very ambitious and want to get out of China and poverty as soon as possible.
These interpreters will never talk to you using an online web cam to view and talk for their potential Asian clients… 98 percent wont do it because you will find out the truth. They will make up an excuse that they don’t have a web cam… Even if you bought them one and sent it to them they would not use it. They would just have a free web cam.
Where a man in America may look for a potential good Chinese wife. 98% of these Chinese woman will only be looking to tell you what you want to hear to come to the US.
This information is not a slam to China women. Like I said about 2% are really looking for love… It is the 98% that you have to look out for… Just be careful and don’t waste money flying to China like I almost did a few months ago.

Guys: There are scammers everywhere--so keep the wallet closed . If people want to meet you then let them get their passport, visa and airplane ticket and come visit you. Most will not for they are either being set up like a madam chicks. The madam takes the girls pictures, reads the mail and answers it. sometime the girl is involved and they charge you for interpreting the mail. Then there are a few that are real. I travel to China from time to time and let me tell you the average woman is POOR. they think that the usa is the Garden of Eden. Be careful with the culture.
But it happens everywhere--even here on Match doctor. As one woman said ""and what do you bring to the dinner table"" Now this is a GOLD DIGGER.
yOU HAVE TO BE CAUTIOUS WITH ALL WOMEN. THERE IS A GAME TO BE PLAYED--THEY WILL

well i figured it was some kind of scam but didn't know for sure. but look at how many people on here are scamers that live in the us, sending pics that is 15+ years old. people just wanting sex and telling how many lies to get what they want. basicly i use this for entertainment purposes only. you can't beleve half of what you read and nothing that you see. i have gotten a lot of the e mails from chinese women and usually if i make a reply at all its says something to the effect of wow talk about a long distance relationship. or give me a call when you get to the us. i have never gotten a relpy back as of yet. things like this has been going on for a long time. i saw a article on tv about russia girls. one guy spent over 10 grand to go over and find himself a wife. she came back with him bought all kinds of cloths and jewelry then one day while he was at work send all the stuff she bought back to russia. then that night she told him she got a letter from her sister and her mother was in a accident and not expected to live. so she went back to russia and some time later he never got any answers to his letters and he went over there to find her. well long stor short he has never been heard from sence. i guess they killed him or something like that. then again this guy wiefe died and he had 4 kids with her and they was fairly young yet. so he went over to russia to get him a bride and he got one brought her back here with him and she is still married to her and she raised his kids and helped him out and loves him bunches. but she is sad and cried in the interview because she knows she can never go back to russia to visit with her family. so that was kinda sad but at least she did what she wanted and is mostly happy with her life here in the usa.

I feel so sorry for you men who get these types of emails. now my question is 1. Do you get them through your direct email? and if you do, then why do you open the email if it is from someone you dont know? 2. Do you met these women on certain singles sites? if so, then maybe you can contact the moderator and let them know what is going on and the type of email scams you are getting...
as for females, I for one have not gotten any scam emails... of course in a few chat rooms I have had men tell me they will give me the moon if I would come and met them.. my answer to that was HELL NO I have talked to you for like 10 minutes and you wanna marry me... sounds like a lot of something is going on in the land of the internet...
Hope everyone has/had a wonderful 4th.... Be Safe!

There's nothing NEW about this ...ever since I'd been on AOL ...'95 ...this has been going on?Well the last one I "talked" to, said she was from China, (and was also registered on THIS SITE) and the end result was close to $25,000 USD and she'd be waiting at the airport for me to come get her.. hahaha fat chance, that's probably the way MOST of them get here to the USA anyway ?

Never heard of the marriage scams before... I used to get people IM'ing me on Yahoo though... women with hot pictures who fell in love way too fast and then would tell you a sob story about how poor they are and how they need money. I guess some guys actually send them money... me personally, I just keep track of how many times I can get them to go to the Western Union office. "Really? Did you give them the transfer number I told you? I swear I sent the money... go check again tomorrow. If it's still not there, I'll send some more". LOL... I love scammers.
