now i have had lets say about maybe 5 people with in the last year or so that started writing to me that appeared to be interested in getting to know me. then all of a sudden the e mails stop or they stop writing but only send jokes etc. now i have to admit this is a little discouraging because someone showed some intrest and then for no reason just dropped off with out ever meeting or anything. this one gal i was really interested in we corrosponded back and forth for a while then she started using my personal e mail address then she started sending jokes but not any really what i would call e mails. then she wanted my messenger id so i gave it to her and added her to my messenger and she never did add me to her messenger. i am not going to say they are players because i don't know them that well but i dont' feel that they are up to snuff or totally truthful or at least their actions don't show it. then another gal i contacted i was interested in we wrote for a couple days then she told me that her old boyfriend came back into her liffe and they was going to see how things worked out from there. well i looked at her profile one time and she stated the same thing on it about the old boyfriend being back but then about a week later i seen her picture and looked at her profile and she changed it so i though that the old boyfriend flew the coop again. so i contacted her again and she never replied. now make no mistake this don't really hurt my feelings for when people do things like this they are showing me their true side of which i am glad to see from the get go. now i would like to know does this happen to others as well or is it just me? doc

I think everyone has email relations like that, Doc. I sometimes wonder if sumpthin bad happened to folks I write to. Or have written to. They just up an disappear.
Others, like you say. Add ya on their list an send ya tons of old jokes. I have some like that. They send me bouta dozen jokes every other day. I wrote em the other day an told em to save their mouse some clicks an quit sendin me them religious stories and them ones that say ya gotta send this on to forty eleven friends or a rabid ostrich will pluck out yer armpit hairs.
That cut the mail bag in half. Now I gonna send em one that asks em not to send them great big mails. I'm on dialup an wont open anything over 500k. Its like they just hit send to everyone an Zap!
Whatever happened to just personal communication? Yanno, a personal written note. I prolly have bouta half dozen people outta bout 200 that actually write sumpthin.
An heres sumpthin else that gets my gourd. Ya get to writin back an forth an thinkin ya gettin somewhere in the friendship thing. And yer paragraphs get longer an their replies get shorter. Like one or two sentences. Makes ya think, "why bother"?

hay hilli thats exactly what i am talkin about. you write your lifes story and express how you look at different things really open up and the reply you get is something like "OH THATS NICE" about all i get in e mails anymore is advertisements. so one day i got wise or so i thought it was wise i started clicking the box that says don't send anymore. well i think when i did that it added me to a dozen more advertisements i wished there was some way to end all of the junk e mails. 1. i am not worried about my credit. 2. i don't want to join some other dating service. 3. i don't need a new car. and how do they know how long my telliwacker is? i think someone has been peeking through my windows at night.

I think that happens to everyone... some just lose interest really fast or figure its not movin fast enough for em. Either way, their just not the one your lookin for.

Maybe they have been peeking and that is why they are sending you those advertisements.. hoping to increase your errr output flow...  just teasing there doc..

Looks like we got the old gang back. lol
Bout my mass forward mail senders. I finally blocked one the other day. I'd just as soon get breast or talliwacker enlargement mails than to get alllllllllllllll them dang forwards. Least I dont havta see them ads. They go right in my junk box.
The one I blocked, I never gave my email to. They got my addy off a forwarded mail some time back.
So remember to use BCC when ya send mail.
