Boogie Woogie.... Lindy or swing ....All great people movers. With rules>> everyone moving in a general clockwise movement.

Zany, I See, you're a Kansas City girl.... whew, long way down memory lane.. There were some dance clubs. Best that I can remember, sort of close to a Pompeii room.. Some time those neighborhoods live forever or get hit with a Urban renewal project.. One in a thousand chance that the Pompeii room would ring a bell... Where do you Boogie in KC. now?

Lacey is a boogie girl!!!!! I dance country/western/rock almost every weekend. I've been to Grain Valley to the country bar, and waiting to make a trip to Denim and Diamonds more downtown KC. I dance in a lot of places. Big, small, medium. Softball was always my first love, now it's dancing . . because I can still do that.

Normally, if there's a dancing place, Lacey finds it. Nice to see another dancer in the crowd, zanylady (just wish you were male). Lacey's looking for a new dance partner.

Hello, Zany! What kind of dancing do you do???? Maybe, just maybe, we could talk the rest of the Missouri group into meeting somewhere and going dancing. I'd be up for it for sure.

Zany, if the guys here didn't want to do that, you know any guys that love to dance? I can rock 'n rock and country. How about the rest of you, would you have an interest????? Yeah, yeah, I know, it would mean most of you would have to get a hotel room for the night, but, a one time shot of having fun, what the heck????? There'd be no ties to anyone meeting. Just a group of chatters getting together to dance and laugh the night away. Don't worry Doc/Hilli, Lacey won't drink, she promises! I'm close enough to drive home if I don't drink. However, if I got to having a blast I'd have to drink, now that would be a good time for all probably. When Lacey drinks she dances the night away and is as full of it as she can be. Anyone interested in seeing the REAL Lacey? LOL

Wait, this may really get me into trouble, I take it all back!

I enjoy Whiskey Tango and or Funky Town - The last several times I have been to Denim & Diamonds all they do is line dancing and if you don't know the dances - you get to sit and watch....they have lost a lot of their crowd.....

I love to boogie oogie oogie til I just can't boogie no more -

Soft ball???? Yep, I was a fast pitcher softball pitcher row! Softball and dancing have always been my two loves of life. Can't play softball any longer, but I can still dance. :)

Hmm, Denim and Diamonds and line dancing. I don't do much line dancing, so guess it would have to be taken to Grain Valley - Whisky Tango. However, last time I was there nobody asked to dance, they were sort of a boring crowd. Too coupled up there . . . . so I haven't been back since.

Come on guys, huh, huh, huh???? Wanna have fun???

Zany, go for it. However, don't be surprised if nobody says they are interested. Doc tried to get something together last summer and thought it was a go only to watch it all fall through. Lots of talk, nobody follows.

I'm in, what the heck do I have to lose???? Notta, cept a good time, remember I'm a dancer and I will dance by myself if it's rock'n roll. Country, I can line dance a little. And, Lacey can drink, but it;s best she don't.

Several years ago there was a bash in KC and it was so much fun. Even though at the time it was an older crowd of chatters, I still went, made friends and had a blast. Basically, it was held in a bar, you could spend the night if you wanted or go home. I drove home since I was only 2 hours away, but stayed until closing and probably an hour after that. That crowd knew how to have FUN!

Therefore, I'm up for trying it again. I will only lose 4 hours of drive time, but make lots of friends (hopefully). It's worth it to me.

Doc, Hilli, Lindy, Cowboy??????? I'm singling you out for starters as you are buds. Row, you could be added to that list . . . . . . . wanna?

Oh, and Zany, do remember that January and February can be some real wintery months. We could always shoot for March if we can't do it in January.
