Looks like another year has almost rolled around and passed us by... As for me, trying to start with the gift buying so I can be ahead of the game. Started my cookie baking, usually pass them around to friends during Thanksgiving and Xmas. Not sure if I'm going home for the holidays yet. Lots depends on the weather at the time I think.
Curious as to if everyone has thought that far ahead and planned for anything or just procrastinating till it rolls up.

I have tght abt holidays will start doing what i going do the first of november so things will be lil fresher less likely be eaten before hand to . Going start christmas shopping to next month .

I've got a few things bought for Christmas, far from done though.
First thing is . . .my granddaughter's birthday in November, then Thanksgiving holidays, then Christmas . . . . They will sure be here before you know it. Thinking . . . . . Lacey always thinks . . .just not always about what she should.

well my ex wife is coming for thanksgiving and cooking for all that will be visiting, my brother and his wife will be here and her cousin is coming in with her boyfriend. not sure what christmas holds yet. i don't like this time of the year its too cold.

Prices have doubled, in some things tripled.... makes it hard to spend that money!
Cant even get a bag of candy for less than $2.50 for trick or treaters and might get 10-15 pieces out of that if its chocolate? Is anyone else dreading the holidays?

I am not looking foward it an how everything has gone up . Its actually going make me have wait till december start christmas an not in best mood abt thats .People may have be happy that i am in their life an not what i can give ems !

Welcome back Dachsie!
If everyone would celebrate Christmas for what it is insteada the commercialization of it, it wouldnt cost nearly as much.
I hava couple Christmas dinners I gotta go to and get a 5 or 10 dollar gift for, that I'll prolly spend 20 on cuz ya cant get squat for five bucks anymore. Other'n that, I wont spend a dime. I'll be content with givin thanks and celebrating the meaning of christmas as I see fit.

U are right hillbilly people shld celebrate the meaning an nt the comercialism of it i decided i am going do what i have done previous hit dollar tree for christmas shopping least its a lil something for all. Since theres 6 kids an 8 adults .

I'd get the kids a lil sumpthin and the heck with the adults. If they dunno what Christmas is about by now..........Well, meybe ya orta get em a story book.
There, I got ya down ta bout six dollars an some change fer tax.
Better yet, make some popcorn balls fer everyone or cookies or candies an the heck with any store bought whizbang for any of em. Encourage em ta sing christmas carols after dinner. I bet they'd remember that christmas the longest. 
Even if it was, " Granny didnt buy us nuttin and made us sing"!

Well i may do the cookie thing an set em up for each family including the kids an something small for the kids . It easy for the girls they like bath stuff an hair stuff its a 12 an half yr old boy a 11 yr old boy an a 6 yr old boy that kinda troubleing the almost two year yr old baby hes easy his mama said new bath toys wld be enjoyable for him or big crayons an a coloring book shes been trying work with him start doing busy work an she says hes easy make happy he getts the giggles with playing with a box an paper. Hes the easiest of kids he gets the giggles easily .

I got christmas done for the 6 kids next month can attack my the big people on my list .Amen for family dollar an dollar genneral for 6 kids . Even got me puppy a doggy bed an her a cute baby blanket i saw she loves the bed she looked at me like mommy i always wanted one these she has her own space nows .I also found me a small christmas tree an got some lights now feel a lot better abouts christmas comings .
