ok, so last summer the oil companys admited to ripping everyone off, and making billions in profits, and then it got real quite about it. thye said it was cause of out weather disasters, and then gas dropped real fast. now they are doing it again this summer. ya, the forein barrels have gone up, but the oil companys are really over doing it again, and many are just getting rich. so i think its time everyone starts sending " nasty grams" to our government officials. so does anyone know who or where we should start writing too??????

i know it is getting bad in oklahoma again. I think if everyone would stay home and not use a lot of gas, The oil companies would get tired of eating their oil. As far who to contact i have no idea.

well its like this i read in the news the other day this guy retired from exxon oil company. he was a high up office person like ceo or something like that. to retire he was about 55 it looked like to me he got $167 million dollars. when i read this i flipped my wig. no wonder we are paying almost 3 bucks a gallon for gas. meedless to say i wrote my senator and congressman and view my viewpoint to them that something should be done about this. if he was 20 years old he couldn't through that much money away in a life time. now pay attention to this and check it out. every friday morning the gas prices raise and on monday morning they lower back down. memorial day is fast approaching and watch the prices go sky high then. dont get me wrong i am not for someone getting a good retirement but the money part of that was just way out of line. now he gets use of the company jet, he gets body guards at company expence for the first 15 years of his retirement and countless other benifits as well. now come on that is just a little much for one person. i would say that gas prices with the company making a profit would be a little under a buck a gallon. and diecel fuel it has been more than gas for over a year and half now and it takes less to make diecel than gas. the reason for that is all the big trucks having to move freight and there are a lot of pick up trucks now days with diecel engines in them. it will never happen but to get the prices back down to where they should be everyone in the usa needs to not drive for two days. that would put a hurting on the gas companies and i bet they would lower the prices quick. just my oppinion doc.

Yup Doc, they jump the gas up a lil every year. Every season(ie, Memorial Day) they slowly raise the prices. Its always some big shortage or somesuch. Then they drop it during the not-so- busy periods. Then comes another Big holiday and up it goes. Every winter they drop it back down, but not quite back to what it was. This year I wouldnt be surprised if it gets to bout four bucks a gallon. Then next winter it will taper back down to bout two and a half. All the while moving higher.
Theres no way "everyone" will go without buying fuel for two days. Too dang many people think they can afford it no matter what the price. (see SUV owners, etc)

well, on the news last night they gave gas prices for all the countries. in kawait and around there it averaged between .09 and .17 a gal. can you beleive that crap? england was around 6.00 or so. the guy they interveiwed said boycottin exxon and mobil, like all the emails going around, said it wont help a bit, its all up to politics now. and guess what, all the big politicians own the oil. so it sounds like we are screwed. so doc, youve been in touch, who do we all start slamming with emails?

Watching the Sunday interview programs I see the Sctry of Energy say we are having an energy crisis. I think "no s***". 2 oil guys at the top of the govt. I guess this whole problem just kind of snuck up on fearless leader, like Katrina. Fearless Leader says we are addicted to oil, Energy Sect says we have an energy crisis. (Captain Obvious strikes again) Too bad nobody warned us about this 30 years ago. Oh, ya they did! Guess I know who has been renting our government for the past few decades.

i think half the problem is cnn news. everytime they say gas will be going up, all the stations go up right away. some say they wait for the next shipment of gas to raise the price, but thats a bunch of crap too. its called, lets make all the money we can..

You think slammin the goverment with e-mail going to do any good the one that needs slammed is the head man his self the president his self. He and his friends are one of the main cause's for us poor folks have too pay such pices. Look at all the oil well's him and his family owns in texas. they pumping at almost full operation down around houston texas. He getting richer as we get poorer!! Like he said last year when he was under fire for the pices being so high " just way and they will go down in 4 years" sounds like he he got his finger in the pot. And then there is the thing with him saying there is no pices gouging with the oil companies lol. That was just last week him saying that, sure and i've got ocean front land here in mo.

sounds like there is alot of pressure in goverment about gas prices allready. they interveiwed the big shots, and they said " well, we`re in this to make money" but now they are saying gas prices might come down this summer, and it wont go to 4.00 a gal like they were trying to build up to a couple weeks ago. but ya, our pres is in there with em. seems like he dont care much about us,,,,,
