do people really bother to read a persons profile? i am a religious man. god is very much a part of my life. yet when people contact me and i start to converse with them and the subject of religion comes up they hush up. i am just wondering does god scare people off? or the mention of his name? my beliefs are mine i don't force them on anyone nor do they have to be religious to go out on a date with me. i'm not going out to some honky tonk for a date either though. i have a few other parts of my life that someone might enjoy if they would look beyond the god thing. like one gal contacted me well when i looked at her profile she had a pic of her in a pair of bib overhauls, no blouse, shirt or any thing covering up what she had. well that is ok if that is what you want but i feel that a woman can dress sexy if she wants to without getting trashy. she wouldn't go out in town like that so why put a pic up like that. i don't know maybe i am being a little too picky. what do you think? doc

Doc,
I think most individuals in today's society don't see the true values and scrupples that some of us were taught in life. Those 'scrupples' have some how went out the door with the sexual revolution.
I often wonder how many people would truthfully admit that they would like a good wholesome date? One that strictly involves innocent conversation that doesn't once head south. What happen to good ole' fashion morals, ethics, values, and interpersonal skills while still enjoying each others company. Having this skill can be a rare trait in todays times, amazingly you can still have fun on a date or conversing online.

i am sarry for not answering this sooner. i am thinking your about right. if i was to go out on a date i would be thinking of a nice place to go to where we could have a fantastic meal, some good conversation, and maybe a drink or two if that is what the person wants. i read a thread today, this gal wanted to know why when there is chemestry there that the person don't stick around. come to find out she goes to bed with them on the FIRST DATE if there is chemestry there? this don't make any sence to me. thats like saying you buy be dinner then you can use me abouse me then go on your way. no one likes a easy woman. my my how the time has changed. i remember when you felt lucky to get a nice long kiss from a gal. but back then it was a big thing to steel a pack of your dads cigs or sneak one of his beers out of the ice box. now its killing people etc. i think thats why i prefer to live in my little roural area, in my own little world. i will remain here just me and my dog unless i find a lady to share it with, but it will always be me and dog. hes my buddie, he never gets mad at me and is the best companion for me at this time.
