Gentleman, did Mom teach you to open doors for women?

Did she teach you to say please and thank you?

Did she teach you to walk beside the woman, not in front of or behind?

Now gents, start asking questions . . . . I'm way ahead of you. lol

All questions I ask are questions my dates have to answer. Yep, I'm tough, I know. But, the answers to these questions are extremely important to me for a certain reason that I will not mention. I'm sure other Missouri women would like the answers to the above just as much as I do. (Psssttt, thanks guys!)

Mom didnt taeach me nothing. she died when I was 8. but i do know that a lady should need to have doors opened for her. I say thank you and your welcome to any one that is polite with a smile.. and I walk with her not behind her and not in front of here. and I walk next to the curb allways on the right side.. ??? Gee was that test or something??

You bet it was a test tjn and from the sound of your response you passed in flying colors. However, I'm sorry for your loss, that's tough. It sounds as if you learned somewhere along the way though, and your Mom would be/is proud of you I'm sure.

Lacey likes tests, don't you? lol Actually, tjn, I wouldn't date a man that can't do all of those things. I sit back and watch the way they are, the way they treat others and their manners, and if they have none, and they ask me out, I politely say, thanks, but I need to be treated like a lady. Is that wrong?

nope, not wrong Lacey; I'd say a 'pre-requisite' LOL

I have been known to ask while 'chatting online with them'

What do you do (do you work/have a job?)

change the subject a tad and mention cars/trucks, (are they licensed to drive, have insurance, etc...no DUI's please ) (there's a reason I ask my questions as well) ;)

shute, those questions should go without saying,,,,but i guess some guys arent into that, so ya, you had better ask, lol,,,,maybe the younger guys need some lessons, but i think most us older guys pretty much got it down as far as plain simple manners go.( guys, i`m trying to stick up for us here, so dont let me down)

i don't think that this is something any one has to teach. i have a lot to say about this. to start off with a queen would never open a door so when your with a lady you should treat her like a queen, for she should be someone special in your life. now the bad part of it is oh so often after a period of dating the same person we oh too often start taking things for granted and quit opening doors, let her light her own cigarette etc. when this happens thats when the trouble starts. opening doors shouldn't be something you have to be tought it should be something you want to do to show the lady that you care about her to show her that she is something special etc. but ma tought me how to cook etc. now if i can only find a gal to open doors for i would be set.
