I was actually looking to move to Montana eventually. Does anyone perhaps have any knowledge of Peerless, Montana? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks, Nick Aites

Actually I live 19 miles from Peerless .. If you like quiet, you got it .. Scobey is the closest town. K-12 school there, at least for the next year, maybe two. It is about 15 miles from the canadian border but that is as the crow flies. closest BIG town is Regina Sask. which is about 160 miles away. Billings Mt is about 350 or so. I dont know why you picked Peerless but there is one bar./restaurant. The school and a farm store.. that is it. You are welcome to ask anything/everything. I was born here, moved for 40 years, came back and probably will die here. I just happened to see this in the forums, I did not look at your profile yet but the woman situation is pretty slim here. Bill Richardson Scobey Mt.

Bozeman. Okay, I'll keep that noted. Thanks again to both of you. Yeah, I certainly like quiet.

Interesting that a young man like yourself would want to move to a small town like Peerless. If you have decided your path in life at your age, more power to you. Dirsup is correct in telling you that we're talking a small town. Just last week Peerless Chamber of Commerce decided to carpet the entire town, we're talkin small here. LOL Small can be great and although Montana is a big state, it is small in the fact that we all just get in our cars and go to the big city whenever we get the notion. I was raised in Vegas, moved up here within a year, raised 4 wonderful sons and have never regretted it. Good Luck!

Ah, thank you for the encouragement, ma'am. I simply want to live a quiet life of contemplation. I've always felt it was my purpose.

Unless you plan on buying or working on a farm, contemplation won't keep you for long.
