For me, probably Cape May. The beaches are very clean, and the people are nice there. Second would be Ocean City...
Least favorite: Is two of them: Atlantic City beach...if that's even a beach....lol...and Wildwood....Wildwood always too long to walk, and alot of trash on the beaches there.
How about you fello New Jersians?

Livin here in Asbury Park yet its not what I would call my favorite beach lol Is nice to be close enough to walk to it tho when I wanna visit the ocean..
Favorite beach is LBI... love the whole Island the dunes rock, very natural... Ocean grove down the road reminds me a little of it Island Beach is nice for a day trip too... Now Wild wood.. lots of good memories yeah North wildwood is a lil trashed, yet its Wildwood for a reason... Has the best boardwalk tho...Anyone remember the sea serpant roller coaster?? Is that still there?? lol ....Now I love Wildwood crest... nicest sand in Jersey.. softest to walk on, yeah theres alot of it but its pretty :)
by far all time least fav beach is Atlantic City, just plain nasty, no wonder people talk smack about us being a garbage dump, only reason to go to AC is to lose money hahaha ok ok maybe a good boxing match or show from time to time

First of all, Joisey does not have beaches. We go to the shore. New YAWkers go to the beach. I am partial to Seasde Park. You have a decent beach during the day and the Boardwalk in Seaside Hights at night. Sandy Hook is to close to the NYC pollution. Cape May is fine too. I used to like Avon too. Uncle Tony

Favorite- Sandy hook cause i know a few niches where you can avoid everyone, though they do requie some foot work. Least favorite, cliffwood beach, mostly a deposit zone for flith and garbage.

I have only been to Jenkinsons Beach at Point Pleasant ..... so can that count as my favorite with N/A being my least favorite ?? :) I jsut moved up here after college...
However this year I have a plan ..... I have never been to the beach when it was or has snowed .... I just wanna see it, because when you think of the beach (at least when i do) I never think of it snowing and I would love to see it sometime when it is snowing ....

a reply to the guy who said there are no beaches in new jersey.....
When you have to drive to the beach its called down the shore..... not up.. not over... it is called down the shore... but when you can walk to the beach its called the beach... :).
also... only north jersey people such as yourself pronounce jersey as joisy LOL.... if you are from south jersey..like I am ....we pronounce it JerZZZZ :D you see the world doesn't realize the state is split down the middle lol I happen to be living in central Jersey now where ya get a little of everything including the bennies from New York.... funny how people all over the country think Jersey is nothin but gangsters lol thanks to the sopranos!! I'm here to tell ya thats not the case....
Oh yeah IM a philly fan... Go Eagles!!!!! yet another seperation... south Jersey is full of eagles fans north jersey giants and jets its almost like its two states in one...but we all hate the cowboys lol well most of us hahahaha ok that was way off topic lmao
and to the guy who wants to see snow on the beach.... good luck this year!! the weather has been nice... it is kinda cool to see tho.. also go check out lightening storms that are over the water... it's amazing to watch from a distance....
Happy New Year all !!!

Gotta love Stone Harbor and the pure carny craziness that is Seaside Heights. Avalon will always be my favorite beach, though. Quiet, friendly town with beautiful beaches and the best damned Mexican food on the shore It's a shame the beach is getting so expensive.. I hope the mansions crumble away some day and the average joe & jane can find a place along the water again.

Favorite Beach! That's my perfect topic. I work on the beach at a hotel in Point Pleasant Beach and it has to be by far the nicest beaches in NJ. I have been to many and they just don't compare. Seaside is flithy, Wildwood is well too wild, CapeMay is for the elderly crowd, Manasquan is great tooo, perfect surf conditions. The beach is a beautiful all year round, 93 degrees or 33 degrees like tonight, it's still wonderful and relaxing. And snow on the beach is awesome, just wait it will come! The snow just disappears into the ocean as if it didn't matter.

Well at least we are lucky to have nice beaches. Most people have to drive a long way to get to the Shore. Just being on the beach, day or night, winter or summer is the best.
Maybe we can all meet up at one of these Favorite Beaches. think about it, as I am always ready to go to the beach.. or to the Shore for you non locals. Ralph
