It has been difficult for me to meet women and I am wondering what the solution is. I have tried online dating but receive few responses. What are some of the reasons?

A picture would be a big help I'm sure. Most of us are first attracted visually. Often, people with online profiles without pictures are thought to be hiding something. Sad but true.

My 2 Cents:
Especially with no picture you need to write more in your profile so someone can get a sense of who you are and what you are like. Even with a pic, it would help to write more so someone can get a sense of your personality.

hm...I wonder the same as Willcool. Even with a picture it seems very difficult. It sound superficial but, Maybe I should tint my hair blond?, or work out a great set of abbs? I am not sure what is wrong?. i hope my profile is not offensive if that is what it is?...suggestions ladies?

Nice profile and great pictures Edu... except maybe the one that looks like you have a pretty headband or barretts in your hair....lol I'm sure there's an explanation for it. But one could take a lot of guesses before coming up with the right one. Not sure why you find it difficult to find someone. You seem very genuine and family oriented and down to earth. Your profile says you have a PhD...wondering in what... but that's just my curiosity. If our ages were closer I'd want to date ya! lol Maybe you just need to write some blogs or write more in the forums and make yourself more visable.

Um, just so I understand this correctly: you are a 27-year-old PhD living within 10 minutes of Rutgers University's campus and 1/2 hour of the Jersey shore, but can't seem to meet any women? HELLO!?

Well, I created the site when I was 27, left it untouched for a couple of years, then re-wrote it with pictures and all. I 've got 3 degrees & Env Management PhD. Yep, its is not rocket science really, just no luck on pulling anyone's interest I guess. Maybe I should change my profile to be some sort of pimp or a rapper/club manager.. boy so many posibilities? hehe.

not sure Ed, you sound like a dream cept for the kids part....well at least for me. Everyone is looking for their special somone and lots have their specifications. are you not finding anyone or just that special one? it does take time to cultivate relationships.

nop...no one has knocked on my door at all, even when I leave nice messages. I tried the same for a couple of years at other dating sites and 0 hits, well exept for one girl from africa who wanted to come to the states...figured her out in 2 minutes!!
Anyways, why is it always easy to talk to older ladies than the ones of my age, they all seem to close up and shut the door unless you look like Brat Pit becoming real Bit*es but soon after they pop a baby they open up?

hummmm sorry dont know. but women mature with age too.so maybe an older women? just saying. there has to be someone out there no? lol cant find one myself. hasnt had a date in forever..... but does talk to some. cant figure it out either. maybe people are loooking for their prince/princess. who knows...but if you find out the secret please let me know :)

Women want a guy who is real and not phoney.Up here in Northern Arizona there is no shortage of men but most are into hunting and fishing and a.t.v.ing. There are not many professionals who are not married .Most of the rest of the guys are blue collar.  Get me out of here!!!

hmm...It may sound a bit strange but, do i look like a phony?...I mean is it better to look like a DJ and or a pimped out tag than to be real and sincere?...I wonder what makes my profile look phoney?, I like fishing too but does that make me phoney?...I want someone true and real just like I am!...guess it is too much to ask :-(

Well for starters, you need to post a clear picture of yourself, no sunglasses. I know that I never take anyone seriously if there is no picture. Good luck...
