What is with all the fakers and scammers on this site? Each and everyday I get inundated with nothing but emails or winks from fakes and scammers. I dont know about any of you, but anyone with two brain cells can figure out that these people are fakes. Whether it's from the way they word their emails or the way they word their profiles,
I know that is it very difficult to filter out the fakes since they seem to change their scheme with security changes on the site, but I just wanted to re-assure myself that I am not alone in the annoyance that this causes.

You're not alone, I get at least six or seven a day. Just report them as spam/scam and block the ID if they are a nuisance. The more people that report them, the faster they will be deleted.

Exactly! I am a pretty busy guy and I just dont have the time to shoot out an email to the webmasters to block these people. They are like a virus that just spreads too fast to keep up with.
One thing not only this site but most sites need to do is make the profile setups much longer to fill out. Take eHarmony with their 29 steps. I agree it doesnt eliminate the problem, but it may help to reduce it.

You are not alone!!! They drive me crazy. I'm so tired of hitting that report abuse button, it seems all I do around here anymore! I've stopped adding any comments at all now, I just report the email and that's it. That's all of my time I'll give.

Yup, I save them in my favorites, and this way I can keep track of the ones that get cancelled. Besides its kinda entertainment for me too lmao. At one pint, I had a list that looked something like this 24 cancelled profiles with another 79 still active. when the game bored me enough, I copied and pasted the entire list and sent it off. Good luck to you all. I hope this helped make scammers and spammers a bit more fun. (even though they are not)

I know what you mean. They are so easy to spot. They all write the same crap, the same way. They must have a book they copy from.
How many people fall for all the words of love right from the first email? Something has to be done.

If you knew someone with a profile on here lied in their profile would you out them? I recently moved back to the area and just joined. Browsing the profiles I came across the profile of someone I knew (indirectly) growing up. She's lied a few times in her profile.

Much more then that. She lied about where she lived, her age, her job. She demands a man is finically secures, yet she hasn't had a job in several years. Demands you have no mental issues, yet she has several mental illnesses. Doesn’t own a car, but insists you do.
She has a profile over on OKCupid. From her journal entries she comes across as one very angry individual.

So, she lied about where she lives; That's understandable for security reasons.
She lied about her age; Unfortunately, that and lying about their weight are fairly common with women. It leads to some real turn offs once the actual meeting occurs. It's no wonder she's seeking someone who has what she doesn't; a job, a car and mental stability. Apparently, she has enough problems. Luckily for me, I'm not on OKCupid. There's enough head cases right here.

Well it seems like this is the scammer site of the world. I get at least 3 a day. Florida and California seem to be their favorite place to live, grow up...whatever. I had the same ones that you had Nurse. In a day or two they will be cancelled and have new profiles posted. It just makes it so hard to trust the real people.

I have found that if i ASK the scammers for money they usually do not email me anymore, lol.
On the serious side, it is just more junk email to be deleted and a pain in the rear, for sure.

There ARE people who are religious and are looking for a good Christian man...so please people, don't knock it if they say that God is first in their life. There ARE people out there who are looking for that quality. Please..people..read their profile before you read their letter to you. It explains a lot!

Matchdoctor could stop the scammers easy there scripts to Look for it all I know I have done them for many dating websites, They just don't want to pay a web designer to do it.
