Last night, me and some friends where hanginh out and talking and the subject of dating came up..
So, one of the ladies there (is was black) asked me would I date outside my race and I yes YES I WOULD..she asked "why there are alot of beauitful black women out here why would you do that.
I told here, If i care for someone, I don't care what the color of there skin is or what race they are. Well that did not go over well..She call me a sale out..wow......
So i want to know, In the time we are in now, WHY is it still this way.. I see alot of beauitful ladies in all colors and races..and I would date any of them..so whats the deal..

I think it is because they haven't opened their eyes to see the beauty in all races.There are times when I wonder if this hatred is ever going to end.

well, I hop it does, but from the look of this.. it doesn't look good.. but i don't care!! i'm still going to date any women..no matter what her race is or color..

I am middle eastern decnt born in the usa. I look caucasian. I have dated all races. I have my physical preferences. I prefer women of color. I also find that the majority of younger people of all races would date outside their race. Its taken time but in another 50 to 100 years this problem will really be in the past....thanks to the computer and modern technology. Just as an added; I have found "american" white women "in general", have a different perspective if you know what I mean.

I find this very interesting, being one of those "american" "white women."

Roseeey,
that is a good question and I would like a answer on that myself..yet, some people of color and white still have a problem with it.. and yes, they my say they dont, but they really do. I know we are changing as a country, but it suck to get dirty looks and people whispering about the person you are with just because they are a diffrent color the you are. I was married to a women from Iltay, and when she arrived here, all the brothers (black men) wanted her, until the founf out she was my wife and then.. oh look.. he has a whit girl..what's the matter no black women good enough for you this is what's borthing me..any way,all i want for xmas is a women that wants to loved and held and wants a honest hard working guy who will be there for her in good and bad times.. and always got her back

In all honesty, i think it goes beyond skin color.
It has to do with different culture and belief also.
Just as i would probably never date a muslin woman, our dietary and religious beliefs are opposites, the same could be said about black and white.
To be honest, i was brought up in a some what conservative house hold, being Italian, my mother would certainly have a difficult time with me bring a woman of color home.
Also i suppose for many it's a matter of preference.
Some are more attracted to different races , some are not.
I think that there is enough variety for every one, and if you rather stay within your own people , that's ok too.
In the end as long as you respect the choices made by others there is very little to be said.

Every one is entitled to their own.
If we all liked the same thing this would for sure be a very boring world.

Really it comes down to one thing, Most people don't date outside there race based on Cultural differences and Religious differences, Or they don't want the name calling and dirty looks.. But with that being said some do, But in most cases if your a black white couple in USA you will get dirty looks from both sides no matter what. It something you have to learn to live with.
You can date just about any other race and people won't care with exception of a few other races.
